Life is the most precious and valuable thing for us. Nothing can be compared with life and every human tries to survive as long as they can. I haven't seen any normal human till now who has the desire to die and it's natural because everyone loves their life. Unfortunately, every living thing will encounter death which is just a matter of time and nobody can escape from death.
I know in my case I also can't ignore death but as humans imagining various kinds of situations is quite normal. I have thought about a topic several times and it's what if I could survive forever. I became immortal and I won't die anytime. Taking it as an assumption let me share if such a thing happens.
From the primary perspective, it will be a great feeling because the feeling of immortality must be something huge. I will enjoy my life without any kind of fear of death. But after a certain period of time, I will start losing my beloved people as they won't have the power of immortality. One by one, they will depart from me and I need to bear the pain of the death of each close person. I hope you understand how painful it is for a person to see his close and beloved people dying. Is it actually so easy to bear the pain? I don't think so.
After a certain period of time, there will be no one of my relatives and my beloved person. There will be no one to give me company and there will be no one with whom to share about my experiences. I will be lonely for forever. I will feel bored and try to spend more days remembering my old beautiful memories but after some more years, I may start to forget about the memories also. I think I will regret being immortal as there will be no friends, relatives, and beloved persons of mine. Without friends relatives and a beloved person, life is nothing more than hell and I need to suffer the feeling of hell from century to century as I won't die anytime.
So I strongly believe that solely being immortal is nothing more than a curse. So naturally if I had any available option to be immortal I may not choose to do it unless the same thing is available for my friend, family at least. I said, "may not". Did you notice that? I said it because the thoughts of humans change from time to time and who knows my mentality changes about it or if I became afraid of death in the future. Nobody actually can say about the future. So saying, "maybe" is a wise choice.
