Over time, we've heard people advising that no one should stay in their comfort zone, their convenient zone, but rather, they should keep pushing forward to make more money. While this has motivated a lot of people to keep pushing, aiming higher, and running away from the small place that looks convenient to go for bigger options, a lot of people also do not want to give in to that advice because life is difficult and it keeps getting tougher and tougher.
One might not know what will happen next if they leave the spot where they seem comfortable and things do not work out the way they wanted. Things could even get worse than they were, and they are surely going to feel the heat.
The question is, where do I fall in?
To be very candid, I am stretched on both sides. Sometimes, I calm down the pursuing force in me and stay in the place I find convenient, while other times, I just leave the spot and go for a bigger show, a bigger fight, a bigger hunt for survival.
When I finished school, I was not comfortable with where I was because I was no longer receiving money from my parents, but even at that, I loved how inconvenient it was for me, and that pushed me to hustle more to have a bit of softness in living, rather than running back to my parents’ home to find a means to pick a start. While my decision may not have been the right one at that moment—because I have actually seen people who graduated, fell back to their parents' house for convenience before picking up the trail they wanted to follow—and things really worked out for them. That is to say, life does not have a general manual for everyone; life is per head, and what works for someone else might not work for me.
Also, we've seen trends on social media where people who are still living in their parents’ house are advised to remain there for now and make sure they are well-prepared before thinking of going out to live on their own because the world is tough and it is not a bed of roses. In this case, it is the truth, and I would still advise anyone out there to enjoy the convenience in their parents’ house before thinking of leaving because, actually, there is nothing bad in enjoying life at no cost. There is also actually no award for people that are suffering. Yes, if one finds a place convenient and it is not harming them, they should stay there and make sure they are well capable of surviving out there before going.
But on the other hand, if one keeps staying in a comfortable place and sees no need to go out, that person might remain in that spot forever.
