Greetings!!!
I welcome you all to my blog and to another edition of Hive’s Ghana weekly write up. And I must say every week it gets better and better. And I’m glad I’m able to participate. For this week’s writing prompt, I choose to write about my favorite hive feature. I believe we all have some or certain features on hive that we someway or another adore very much. For that reason, I want to share mine with you.
Among all the reputable features on hive, one of my favorites and my go to feature is the Hive Task. I’m sure quite a few of you might have heard a little about it. Let’s quickly check it out. You can access it through this LINK. I normally refer to the hive task as the “eye” of hive. Almost everything can be done and seen there. For example both incoming and outgoing votes can be viewed there, witness voting can be done there, delegations, reputations, Hive power, and many more useful information about a persons account can be obtained from the hive task. Which is why I love and appreciate it very much kudos to the developers of the website.
Let me guide you through a few of its own features. After launching the website on your browser, you will land on the page below.
From the screenshot above, I divided the screen the page to four parts, numbered 1 to 4. The first number represents the voting mana of a users account. When at full power it is at 100%. So it helps the user to be able to properly manage and use his voting mana wisely.
The second one displays the voting amount on a users account. It shows how much your money your voting mana can give at a particular percentage. It starts from 1% to 100%. And it also displays hive links to other dApps.
The third one contains details about the users account. Details like the balances, followers, market info, orders, mentions and it also enables the users to be able to delegate his or her hive power through the delegation feature located there.
The fourth aspect contains details about the accounts voting mana. These details include the users effective hive power, Resource credit status, reputation, post count, Voting CSI and vote count.
Moving on to the next part, we have a section on the page where you can see your incoming votes and outgoing votes. See screenshot below.
This is located just below the page after launching it. Not only incoming and outgoing votes, It kind of displays everything that happens in the users account be it whether the user placed a sell HBD transaction through his wallet, or sell hive transaction. It will be displayed there for transparency. As you can see from the screenshot above.
Lastly, the page helps you by displaying your active post and help you to calculate the amount of HBD and hive power you will receive after the seven days have passed. It will also show you the time and date the post was created other relevant information like the number of people who voted, replies, images used and more.
There is still a lot I haven’t talked about on this website. But with what I have talked about, am sure you will find it very useful in your hive journey. I’m thankful to the leaders of this community for this opportunity. Thank you
