Friendship is a valued bond that brings joy, support, and love into our lives. I have always valued my friendships deeply, regardless of the age difference, believing that the effort we put into nurturing these relationships is what makes them truly special. For me, friendship is about being there for one another, through thick and thin, and growing together.
In any friendship, there are moments of laughter, shared secrets, and memories that last a lifetime. I've always cherished the time spent with my friends, whether it's a simple tea date, a deep conversation, or just taking a walk and chatting. The bond of friendship is built on trust, mutual respect, and the willingness to support each other in times of need. I've always put in the effort to maintain good friendships, knowing that relationships require nurturing and care to flourish.

In my case, I had a friendship that I valued deeply, she was my childhood friend, we grew up together, attended the same school from junior to high school, most people thought were sisters because we kinda look alike. Everything was perfect we barely had conflict or quarrels.
But over time, i began to notice some odd characters from my friend, she would often make decisions that I knew weren't in her best interest, and whenever I tried to offer advice or correction, she would become defensive and offended, it became clear that the friendship was no longer serving its purpose.
The tension would grow, and we'd go days without speaking. I tried to talk to her about it, but it seemed like no matter how hard I tried, the friendship was becoming more of a burden than a source of joy. It was affecting my own life, and I found myself being pulled into a cycle of negativity. I realized that I was compromising my own values and goals by staying in the friendship.
The hardest part was seeing someone I cared about so deeply making choices that I knew would have long-term consequences.
