Hi there I'm excited to particular in this week's prompt.
I'm @trizzy2 I'll be writing about strangers
Here's my entry
Growing up as a child parents and teachers will always warn you about talking to, playing with or associating with people you do not know termed as “strangers” and this was for security reasons.
As such I grew up with the mindset that dealing with strangers are harmful and can hurt sometimes, though not all and this made me to be so reserved like…. I don't talk to or associate with people.
There's a saying that most times angels in disguise appear to us as strangers and it is the way we relate with them that will determine if we will get the blessings or not. Even with these I was always afraid of strangers, there are times people would stop me by the way maybe to ask for directions to a certain place but I wouldn't give attention cause my mind will be telling me remember mom said “don't talk to strangers because some could be on an evil mission such as kidnapping, stealing, raping etc” of which you might fall a victim. With these I wouldn't give the person an attention.
As this continues I got to discover that the reason our parents used to tell us that is because the world is bad and people are not to be trusted so that knowledge somehow keeps us save in their absence. When I grew to a certain stage of maturity I got to discover that most strangers could actually be a blessing to us perhaps an angel from God , according to people's stories and encounters. Hence I started praying for my own encounter with an angel in disguise “stranger” funny 🤣 right….!
And yes !😁 I met my own angel in disguise and that encounter has added so much value to me. Though it didn't happen the way I expected and I didn't get what I expected but trust me it was far better than my imagination. I always wished my own angel would probably give me plenty money or help me meet my needs as other people's own did but no mine was different and trust me it was so disappointing.
But this stranger I met actually gave me something I lacked and that was knowledge of some things and you know they say “knowledge is power”. He didn't actually give me knowledge as per a physical gift but he convinced me see the need of having knowledge of those things I neglected and saw as less important such as politics, sports, digital currency, tech innovations etc.Honestly I never found it interesting having the knowledge of these things but from the time I had an encounter with this person,my perception of these things changed and this has added value to me and I have benefitted alot from it.
Thanks for stopping by my blog @trizzy2
