Greetings once again, and welcome to my blog. I believe we are having a great week. To make things snappy, I will be sharing with you an interesting topic from the Hiveghana community engagement contest. This has to do with the challenges I face personally on hive and some possible ways of curbing this situation.
To be frank, I think I have personal challenges that affect my growth and productivity on hive, but not necessarily challenges I face on the hive. I think hive is perfect. It has the best user-friendly interface and can be accessed in various ways. Through ecency, peak, speak, and the rest. These are the various mediums through which Hivians can socialize on the same platform. To be frank, I am yet to see such a thing on any other social media platform. Kudos to the entire team of developers behind the creation of Hive.
I wish I could say that not being a full-time player on hive is my major problem, but that cannot be possible. I just think being a full-time content creator on the Hive blockchain would be so cool. Being on hive from morning to evening just creating content would be so cool. But that shouldn't be a problem because there are many hivians who are part-timers and yet doing very well.
My major challenge preventing me from enjoying Hive as much as I should is a slow laptop. To be frank, I did not do much research before acquiring this machine. I actually bought it from a friend who deals in the importation of electronic gadgets. He imports laptops from outside, and because he is my friend, I thought he would choose the best for me. I thought he would not give me something of very low quality. I trusted him when he gave me the laptop. I just took it and gave him the money. By then, he had praised his goods so much to me, so I was convinced that they were of very high quality until I brought them to school.
The problem is, I did not know much about laptops then. This is actually an eye-opener for me. It was after I bought it that I asked some friends about it, and they gave me advice.
The funny part is that I am running Windows 11 on it. That was a very bad idea. The hard disk is just too small to contain Windows 11, but that's the Windows I wish to use. This slows the network because it keeps freezing when in operations.
The plan is to get a new laptop. The money to get a very good one at the moment is the problem. Laptops are very costly now as compared to the first. Blogging on phone is not professional to me. I need a new laptop so that I can create better content and make my work more professional.
I need to end it here just to be within the word range, thanks.
