Technological advancement is moving at a tremendous speed, and in the field of telecommunications, the way it is shaping the direction of our actions is impressive. Video games used to capture the attention of children and adolescents, while cell phones were a thing of adults, but this situation has been changing over the last decade. Even children under 5 years old now have a mobile device to watch and listen to children's songs, encouraged by their parents, who want to keep them busy with any activity and, unwisely, at the mercy of negative influences.
I don't mean to be extremist when I comment on the negative side of audiovisual sources, which can influence the behavior of people with poor emotional control and exacerbate bad social behavior, but we must consider all possibilities. I say this because I have the direct example of three nieces who give their children their cell phones to entertain them while they do their daily chores, which cannot be postponed.

Access to social media or information from the most popular websites may contain truths, half-truths, half-truths, and/or lies, all framed within the hegemonic context of information. An infinite amount of information flows through a device so small it fits in our hands, yet it has the power to exert a positive or negative influence on our consciousness, or, suspiciously, on our subconscious.
I always try to point out that each mind is a world in itself, so for some people it may be positive and beneficial, for others it may be fleetingly malicious, so as thinking beings with active logical reasoning, each of us must assume emotional and behavioral responsibilities when justifying the appropriate use of the technological means that are massively within our reach.
