When it comes to Whiskeys I just Love my Single Malts and for the longest time, I had no clue that India also produced their own Single Malt Whiskeys right here in our home ground. But that doesn't mean that every single bottle of Whiskeys produced in India is of top-notch quality as I had to go through a lot of trial and error processes to find some Single Malts that are exquisite and I certainly liked them a lot. So today I am going to list out a few Indian Single Malt Whiskeys that have really made me happy as a couple of days ago one of my favorite Indian Single Malts came up as one of the Best Single Malt Whiskeys in the World and it was none other than INDRI SINGLE MALT which I have tried in past and I am absolutely a fan of its flavor of Black Tea infused with something fruity. It is one of the only triple-cast matured whiskey in India and it really leaves a beautiful aftertaste in the mouth.
But I will say that if you are trying to have this Neat then please don't as it is meant to be had with Soda or Water as only then you can enjoy the fruitiness and tartiness of this Single Malt. BTW this Single MAlt costs around 4000 INR in India which is approximately 50 USD.
The next Single Malt Whiskey that I would recommend is the Single Malts from AMRUT and I say SINGLE MALTS because there are two of them one is AMRUT Single Malt Whiskey and the AMRUT Fusion Single Malt both of which have a Vanilla flavor to them is quite prominent. But what makes this special is the spicy flavor that can be found in the whiskey I really enjoy it and I hope you guys enjoy it too.
These are the two Single Malt Whiskeys that I have personally tried and have absolutely loved and I can fully recommend any of the above to you guys as well.
