Today is a very complex day for me. I have a lot of emotions going through my head right now. Things I could say? Things I should say? I just don't know. The title of this post has many facets.
Of course you have probably heard about the presidential election that is happening in the US. Many people have many opinions about it. I have my own and I am doing my best to refrain from letting loose here.
So here I am standing on the edge, trying to decide if I want to go down "that road" of talking about my country which I also feel is on the edge quite often lately.
In addition to that, I have recently powered up a little more Hive and I now have less than 1000 HP until I hit my 20k HP goal for the end of the year. I think this should easily be do-able and it is something I would much rather focus on than all of the chaos that is going on in the world right now.
While 20k used to seem like such a lofty goal, I know that many people who use to be around my size have blown past that. Where many of them took the opportunity to move their STEEM over to HIVE, I made the choice to move my STEEM into other cryptos to diversify my portfolio a little more.
Speaking of crypto portfolios... That is another case where I feel we are standing on the edge. Is this true bull run going to come that everyone has been talking about? Sure we have seen some hopeful movement in BTC over the past couple of months, but will 2017 happen all over again?
Many people feel it will not. I guess on some level I throw myself in with that group. I think Blockchain is too relevant now. In the past people had kind of forgotten about BTC and that lead to the massive influx of cash/users/investors. Since then, blockchain and cryptocurrency has made enough in-roads that it is "almost" common vernacular to a large portion of the population.
I think it would take people "forgetting" about it for a bull run like 2017 to happen again. Thankfully(?) that isn't going to happen because there is just too much development and too much growth in the sector.
Who knows. When you find yourself standing on the edge more often than not you find yourself slowly backing away. Maybe that is what will happen here. The times of getting rich off of crypto may be over, but the fact remains that crypto and blockchain is here to stay.
So there you go, a post that started out looking like it was going to be very political and ended up being something you might find in the #leofiance community.
Perhaps tomorrow after we have a clearer picture of what is going to happen here in the states I will have a better idea of how to organize my thoughts. However, I kind of doubt it.
