The more I play Splinterlands, the more I feel that it’s a game I’ll be playing long term. I think it's the excitement of learning new things that keeps me coming back. And of course, the thrill of winning battles gives me the motivation to keep trying different strategies. I find myself thinking about the game whenever I have free time, LOL.
A good example of this obsession is when I got home earlier: I immediately opened my laptop and launched Splinterlands just to check if my Energy had replenished. Why? Because I almost used it all up yesterday, hahaha.

Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that since this is going to be a long-term activity for me on the platform, I’ve decided to invest in it. I want to gain an edge as I level up from my current tier, which is Bronze II. By the way, I just ranked up from Bronze III to Bronze II today, so that feels like a real accomplishment.
So far, my battles have been a bit shaky, despite some wins. Most of the time, when I face opponents with card levels similar to mine, I have a higher chance of winning. However, when I go up against someone whose cards are already at level 2 or 3, it feels unfair, especially when mine are still at level 1. It creates a sense of imbalance, and it’s obvious I’m at a disadvantage.
To be honest, I get pretty frustrated in those kinds of battles, when my opponent wipes out all my cards and I can’t even take down one of theirs. It’s disheartening, mainly because the difference in card levels is too significant.
I guess the only way to deal with this is to fight fire with fire, or in this case, teeth with teeth. That means I need to level up my own cards if I want to maintain my standing in Bronze II. Because if I can’t keep up with opponents whose cards are 1 or 2 levels higher than mine, then I probably won’t be able to progress beyond the Bronze league and start my journey in the Silver league.
Splinterlands continues to challenge me, and that's exactly what makes it so exciting. Every battle teaches me something new, and every upgrade brings me closer to becoming a stronger player. I'm committed to growing within the game, both strategically and competitively. With each step forward, I’m more motivated to invest in my cards and climb the ranks. This is just the beginning of my journey, and I can’t wait to see where it leads.
