Day 847: 5 Minute Freewrite: Friday - Prompt: beans and rice
Beans and Rice are favorite of many people as meal. Since there is no certain way to find out how much rice you should get, it is recommended to make rice with red beans. In the beginning, if the rice was not very soft and mushy, the cooking time will take time. And you need a longer time to cook rice with red beans.
This is one of the ways that you can prepare Red Beans in which you cannot check when the rice was boiled to its finish, which enables you to make rice with a higher possibility of getting excess water that you can either drink out or discard. Add the vegetables to the rice and boil it. When the rice is done boil, it is also better to skim off the bean crumbs and also to eat it with butter.
