Hello splinterlands warriors, how are you today? I always like to participate in any splinterlands event but money to participate in one of my biggest issues. The moment I heard the announcement of Yaba's pickle, I planned to participate in it. One of my barriers that did not allow me to get my desirable level of Yaba's pickle is the amount of splinterlands Governance Token (SPS) I staked. The amount of SPS I staked is below 8k; which simply means I cannot get more than 7 Yaba's pickles. I have planned to get up to level 5 at this moment because of the following: Shield- imagine you get this kind of a monster when little league is given to you. It is going to be very tough for your opponent to destroy this monster with melee and ranged attack. The only way to destroy Yaba's pickle is to use a magic attack. I really need Yaba's pickle because I did not have enough cards in my modern collection. All the monsters I was using in modern format have been moved to wild format. I knew it would be a very good addition to me to have yaba's pickle.
I have seen how difficult it was to attack a monster with dodge ability. I have used dodge ability monsters in battles and I knew how they were instrumental in those battles. This is the reason I know that getting yaba's pickle is the best for me.
Yaba's Pickle can be used in the first position- just like countless times I have enough encounter battles where melee attack were only allowed as attacking monter. **Yaba's Pickle with be a perfect monster to use due to shield ability and escape ability.
Combination of a weapon training monster- I got Moxian Rebel this afternoon because I bought Yaba's Pickle This monster gives weapons to adjacent monsters. I believe that whenever I place Yaba's Pickle at the Adjacent of Moxian RebelIt will give me a desirable result. If you watch the battle I shared below, you will understand the reasons I need Yaba's Pickle.

Watched this battle again and again made me realized how much I need Yaba's Pickle.
Let's look at the abilities of Yaba's Pickle
Dodge- The first ability of Yaba's Pickle appear when one combine 14 cards together, i.e level 3. A skilled splinterlands player understands the best battle for level 3 of Yaba's Pickle. This kind of ability is good when magic monsters are not allowed in the battle rules. There are battles I cannot do without Noa the Just because it is very important in the battle. There were several times I used Noa the Just as the last monster in the battle when super sneak rule* was given. With Noa the Just as the last monster, it was very difficult for melee monsters to attack it; to make Noa the Just more effective in the battle, I placed Kulu Mastermind adjacent to it; as it was attacking and destroying the health and armor of opponent monsters, it was hard to eliminate Noa the Just. Since both Noa the Just and Yaba's Pickle share a similarity, Yaba's Pickle can also be used like that in modern battles.
Shield- Shield is very useful when melee and ranged monsters are only allow in battles. This is the reason some players like to use shield ability in the first position; especially, if the monster with shield ability have high number of health and armor. For instance, there was a time when I was given little league battle, and I could not use a magic monster in the battle because it was forbidden to use it. I am well sure that if I come across such rule now, Yaba's Pickle will be the best solution for it.
Weaken- There were time I was using Creepy Oozebecause of the weaken ability. They only reason I selected **Creepy Ooze is because of its weaken ability: imagine one have a monster with four abilities. I like to use monsters with high speed whenever explosive weaponry rule is given in battles. With monsters with high speed, one can win such a battle! Using Yaba's Pickle will be the best solution to reduce the speed of the opponent's monsters, and the healing ability will also be good.
Healing- Healing ability can only be achieved in the max level, and one needs summoners with higher level to use it.
Waiting For More Opportunities on Yaba's Pickle
There are many opportunities for anyone that wants to participate in Yaba's Pickle. I believe I can still get black foil. But, this can only happen when: Gold Foil Arcane Fortune Draw This event will take place after the first phase; and it will take place on the 29th July. This is another opportunity for player like me that cannot get more Yaba's Pickle due to my staked SPS; I only got 7 because I have less than 8,000 stakes SPS. I believe that during the second phase, if I can participate, I may have a chance to win something big. I won't wait for black Gold Foil auction because it is very expensive.
Why it will hard to participate in Black Gold Foil auction?
For someone to participate in black gold foil, such individual will need to have 50 vouchers, 500 DEC and 1,000 Aura. I think this requirement is more, and I prefer the gold foil because the requirement is not that much.
Since, only 20 black gold foil will be available, it will be very competitive. Big players which I can't compete with will also participate; this will narrow my chance of the black gold foil.
