I was in London with work this week, and made sure I also got out for a nice walk a few times to take in some sights.
In Chinatown they had all of these lovely red lanterns up, I'm assuming in preparation for Chinese new year - how cool are they !!!
During my wander on tuesday I found this statue of Harry Potter, and had to take a pic of it for my daughter - I really liked this !
On wednesday morning it was quite nice and when I left my hotel the sun was lighting up the top of the building across the street - it liked great !
And further on the way to work, this colourful building really caught my eye, again with the morning sunshine lighting up the top half.
The church above was also quite close to the hotel - I just love the greek temple styling, with it reminding me of the Pantheon in Rome - totally love it !
I just loved this canopy decoration for a theatre !
And the statue was also looking mighty fine at Piccadilly Circus.
The scene above caught my eye when I was walking to catch my train home on wednesday - there is so much going on ! The lovely mural on the left, people chilling in a public area lit up for the evening, with the BT tower overlooking in the back - oh - and the cool trees with their long spindly fingers ! Did I miss anything ?
And further along towards the train station the BT tower was being reflected in this mirrored building.
I got to Euston Train Station just as it was getting dark and spotted this lovely old light outside the fire station next door - how cool is the styling !!!
Well I really did enjoy this short trip to London and getting to wander around and soak in the atmosphere was great - its such a fantastic city with so much to see !
