I hope you all are fine and doing well with the trophy pushing and quest collection. Don't know why but on my last quest in Gold I, I got plenty of dec dust chests and only 1 common reward card. As far as I know, with the new reward card launch, 50% probability of every chest to be a card and 25% each for dec or potions but it looks those probabilities didn't play fair this time. But anyways, waiting for my next quest to get unlocked so that I can battle again and try my card luck with the next quest reward chests!
Now, taking a look at the SPS (splintershards) market, I am very happy right now to see it has surpassed the 0.3$ price mark. For quite a few days it was under 0.3$ or 0.25$ to be more pressie but for last 2 days it is showing good gain in the charts. In the below graph of last 7 day price of SPS, you can clearly see the coin moving between 0.225$ and 0.25$ price mark at the first half but later the upward spikes are visible and currently it is being traded for 0.304$ as per coingecko data.
Chaos Legion presale will get launched real soon and thou there is no official date announced, elders are saying it will get launched within next 2-4 weeks. And its all known that you will need those vouchers to be able to buy CL packs and guess how can you get those vouchers? Yes, by staking SPS. So, that may be the cause of this SPS pump but who knows. But I am very hopeful that just before CL presale, we will see a better price of SPS.
It was the 54/365 day of the SPS launch and still more than 10 months left for the airdrop to end. This long term drop strategy is encouraging holders to hodl their cards and the result is reflecting on card prices. I am really missing those days when I used to buy max level cards from at least 5-10x cheaper than they are now. But on the brighter side, the rental market sooth this problem somehow as you can rent cards even just for 1 day to fight in a certain tourney or just before the season end to reach your desired place. I did the same this season. I rented a max selenia for 2 days at 125 dec per day just before season end and smoothly reached the 20k dec price with it. Isnt it way beter than buying that same selenia for 3200$? for long time, yes but for short term I will just go with the renting.
On the other way, i am also renting my low level and unused cards for some extra dec. I started renting 2 days before season end and was getting good return on my cards. But after the season end, some of those cards got un-rented. I listed them again for lesser price but will list them again before the season end when the market will be at it's peak.
