Manticore Yes, This week splinterland's weekly challenge theme is Manticore. One of my favourite cards and I was pleased to see this week splinterlands has chosen a dragon epic manticore for the challenge. Last week I couldn't participate as a theme was not my type of :P. I have never used Undead minotaur. Today I had a dragon quest and it was like a double treat. I won my battle with Manticore and decided to make this week challenge post ASAP. Although I was feeling damn lazy still somehow convinced myself by saying this no more laziness please :P XD. So let's start...

More about Manticore
Manticore is Dragon epic but when you look at its lore then you get to know that manticore is known as the hybrid monster it is because manticore is cross between, Dragon, a lion and a scorpion. This is why this monster has so much attitude :P. Its Rarity is Epic and currently trading at 0.20$. I must say pretty cheap though so If you want to upgrade this card then this is the right time. Mine is already maxed and I remember I purchased it at 0.40$/BCX or above.
**Abilities**
It has three awesome abilities such as Flying, Reach and Thorn.
Flying
Flying Ok I do like this ability because most of the time you win the battle because of this ability. Yes, there is the highest probability of evading hits from those monsters who don't have the flying ability. In such a case, one or 2 misses can change the results of the battle.
Reach Monsters with Reach ability always use in the second place but in melee mayhem, you can place wherever you want. I like reach ability though. Simple ability so there is nothing much to write about this ability.
Thorn One of the Classic abilities. Yep, I really do love thorn ability. When melee attack hits this ability then that attacker gets back damage

Ruleset of the battle
I was given Fog of War(Where monster loses the sneak and snipe ability) and Even Stevens(I was allowed to use only even mana cost monsters.) along with 32 Mana cap.
My lineup
THE KRAKEN
I used THE KRAKEN in the first place. Because of even steven rule in addition to it I was given high mana cap. This monster is savage because of its abilities. At level 4 it has Taunt, Demoralize, Enrage and the most epic one ``Retaliate`.
Manticore
I used the theme of the week Manticore in the second place and yes reason is clear because it has the reach ability. And reach ability monsters can attack from second place.
Naga Windmaster
At third place, I used the Naga Windmaster. She is the best reward card I suppose she has 3 amazingly amazing abilities such as Headwinds, shatter and Poison. If you don't have Naga windmaster in your collection then you are missing her wonders.
Ruler of the seas
I used the Ruler of the seas in the fourth position. ok yes, the main purpose of using this card was to increase the speed of my monster. In addition to it, the ruler of the seas has blast and silence ability.
FIENDISH HARPY
I used FIENDISH HARPY in the fifth position. As I have mentioned in my previous battles this 2 mana monster is great because of its opportunity ability. And I must admit I use this monster quite often.
FURIOUS CHICKEN
I used FURIOUS CHICKEN in the last position. It always helps in saving up some opponent attacks. But in even-steven rule Honestly, I used it to fill up the gap of the last position otherwise it was useless :P Xd
Will I Use Manticore again?
I always use when it needed so there is no confusion about manticore if I will use it again or not.
Did my strategy work out?
Clearly, I won against pretty much good deck so yep 100% my strategy worked out.
