Hello hivers , friends and family. Happy new month to you . Here I am in sculpture class, working on a hand using my own hand as a reference. This hands-on approach allows me to capture the intricate details and nuances of the human hand. By using my own hand as a model, I can ensure accuracy and precision in my sculpture.
Sometimes you do feel working, but you have to get it done. Because you don’t have choice we need to get it.
As an general art student in my school we need to touch every aspect of art drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, textile and graphic.
To be honest I don’t like working with clay , but I gain admission I’ve not work with clay before is so new to me but I’m coping.
I make a sketch reference of what to work on , the lecturer approved it, so my turn to bring the sketch to life . I sculpt the first hand with little detail on it , I present the progression to my lecturer he said I should continue we want the finish work in next class.
I still have a lot of assignment to work on so I leave project on pending to work on other assignments. A day to our submission I started the second hand but I was unable to finish it that same day so I rush to sculpture class to get it done before the lecture arrive .
5 minutes before the lecture arrived am 80% done to my own satisfaction because I don’t really enjoy spending much time on clay work , I don’t like details on it most time 35% details.
Lecturer arrived saw my work and my our course make work . He said we should change the composition of the work entirely it was quite challenging but we have get it done.
So I came up with this new idea
