It should be cat's son doesn't hunt mice... hahaha... but let's leave it at that, what can we do?
...
Some time ago, when I bought my road bike, I said that along with it came a gym bag with some necessary stuff inside like inner tubes, chain lube, a set of Allen spanners, a puncture repair kit and a high quality bike pump... but in addition to that there was also a seatpost and a saddle.
For some days now I've been trying to sell the seatpost and saddle because I don't need them and so I can use the money to buy something I'd like to have. Then today the magic happened. I found this bike computer on a sales site and "coincidentally" the guy who was selling it needed the seatpost. So we made up and each of us is now happy.

There was another guy selling the same model without the US flag. Not that I have anything against the flag of that country, but for a matter of personal taste that one (which even had colours to choose from) was the one that caught my eye when I looked through the ads. However, the guy selling the one with the flag was the one who needed the seatpost. Well... that's the way the Universe works, I thought to myself. Maybe this is the one I have to have in front of my eyes, for several reasons. 😂
Maybe I want to visit my sister and the request has already been heard... who knows?

Let's not make a big deal out of this. The point is that for the seatpost I wanted to sell or exchange I had to get this Cateye Padrone. Life always surprises me. And these days I have renewed energy because I'm looking at everything from a different perspective.
There's always a first time and that's how I found myself installing these devices for the first time in my life.
Everything that needs to be done is explained in detail in the manual...

Don't tell me you don't understand because everything is clear 🤣
... but there is always a part where the girl says: what the frig is this little thing for? 😁 It was the sensor that goes on a spoke of the wheel.
And I also noticed that the brake crab lugs were scuffing against the rubber and I had to take out the allen keys to adjust it.

I've got my fingers dirty! 😒
And when everything was installed, I turned the wheel to see if it would work and it didn't. So I took the battery out of the sensor... that's why you see my black fingers with a battery, is that I fixed the brakes before. 🤓
I thought maybe it had a protector or something and wasn't making contact. Well, it wasn't! I had to angle the sensor magnet so that it was 5 millimetres away from the little thing that goes on the spoke.
😃
And the cyclocomputer started to work.
(I can't afford a Garmin at the moment. I have other priorities. But I'm happy that this one works)

Last night I had a very nice dream. I was talking to myself. However, it was not me as I look today, but a different me, with a deeper look, and a lot of sparkles all around. I, I mean, she said: "What you want is yours. Just go and look for it. Have fun. Have a good time."
And she/me winked.
I woke up and I had a feeling of well-being, of absolute confidence. After I showered, I got dressed and had a glass of water, I went to buy sugar, condensed milk, frozen chicken, and came back home very quickly to make coffee. Good news came. Good vibes too, a friend visited me... and I told you the rest.
Tomorrow will be a new day. Let's see what the Universe brings to me.
