Another report card complete as we near the end of the next season, marking a personal best for me in Ranked play so I'm thrilled to share the results. I've focused my Glint on filling out my Gold Foil reward card collection, so I haven't bought energy or any loot chests in a few seasons. Without any more delay, let's jump into the numbers!

Longest Streak | 14 | 7 |
My performance in Ranked Play might be my best season ever for my win rate across both formats. In Modern, I finally made it back to Champion 1 for the first time in months! I won 83 battles and lost only 50 for a win rate of over 62%. Although it still wasn't good enough for a spot on the Modern leaderboard, I am happy to be starting the next season already in Modern Champion League. Maybe I will have a shot at the Modern leaderboard next season!
Over in Wild Ranked, my automated XBot secured a Top 25 leaderboard rank for a 40000 DEC prize. It put together a strong 14-battle win streak, winning 157 of 243 battles for a win rate of over 64%. With my commitment to focus on tournaments, I'm still forced to play more of my ranked battles with the bot in Wild than I can play manually in Modern. Hopefully, I can set aside more time to play manually as prizing improves.

Since this livestream tournament happened during the season, it is the only one that shows in the report card. But I've been playing many more events that don't appear because I sign up for the tournaments as soon as the new events are posted (not in-season). I've been tracking my tournament performance in a separate spreadsheet since the start of 2025 and this accountability has led to many fewer flees from tournaments than I had in 2024.
I played in 24 tournaments in Season 152 and earned SPS prizes in 22 of them. In one of those events I fleed completely, and in the other, I fleed 5 of the 11 Day 1 battles. Basically, if I managed to play Round 1, then I managed to cash the event!
From the 22 @sps.dao tournaments I prized in, I earned a total SPS return of 15658! That is 3x the amount of SPS I earned from playing in Ranked Play. I'm not kidding when I tell you that Splinterlands tournaments are the best place to earn SPS if you are serious about maintaining a strong collection of the best cards and synergies in the game. I'm glad I've committed to tournament battles ahead of Ranked battles with my free time for Splinterlands.
Rewards Report
Earnt Tokens (Ranked Rewards)
Ranked Play Wins | Tokens Received |
---|---|
240 | ✨ 727474 Glint + ⭐4585.195 SPS |
Season Rewards Claimed | ✨ 0 Glint |
Glint Spent | ✨ (925000) Glint |
Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.
These days my staked SPS is locked in around 1M to make sure I am getting a nice multiplier for my Ranked Play. 4585 SPS for 240 wins is still a nice return of over 19 SPS per win in Ranked. Hopefully, when I can spend more time playing in Modern then my Ranked SPS rewards will improve as well.
🟣 Rental Report
Type | DEC |
---|---|
Revenue | 0.000 |
Expenses (inc. fees) | (1640.772) |
Cancellation Refunds | 10.918 |
NET | (1629.854) |
I'm still renting about 8-10 cards per season, all with rental ROIs under 5%, meaning that the rental price is comparatively cheap compared to the purchase price. These cards aren't used all the time, but they are game-changers when it comes to the right battle rulesets. I'm still saving up to buy a few of those A/B/U gems, but for now, I am renting the last handful of cards I need for the most competitive tournaments.
⭐ SPS Report
Type | ⭐ Amount |
---|---|
Staking Rewards | 1024.546 |
Ranked Rewards as above | 4585.195 |
Brawl Rewards | 704.152 |
Land Rewards | 931.430 |
License Stake Rewards | 465.146 |
NET SPS | 7710.469 |
I'm happy to note the near doubling of my SPS rewards from Land now that I've gotten another Rare plot online mining SPS. I am running at a bit of a grain deficit mining SPS right now, but that was always my plan as we approach the launch of Land 1.75 which will make it harder to mine SPS. Brawl rewards are still down a little bit as Shield of Glory has struggled to fill a few open Gold Foil frays. We are finishing in 3rd more frequently than 1st these days, which means a small reduction in the SPS rewards earned from brawls. I'm still pleased to see over 7000 SPS earned from these five different SPS reward streams.
Overall, Season 152 might just be my best season yet! I played my way back to Modern Champion 1 and absolutely crushed in the @sps.dao tournaments. I'm so excited for the launch of the new set and encouraged by all the new players joining the game and tweeting about it on X.
Combining my 7710 SPS from rewards and my 15658 SPS from tournaments, I earned 23368 SPS during Season 152. Using today's spot price of 0.0067 USD, I earned over $156 in value from SPS alone. This doesn't even figure in the Glint, reward cards, Merits, and Potions earned as prized from reward chests and ranked play during the season.
Next Season 153 will be the last season with only two formats as the Splinterlands team will be welcoming Survival Mode for Season 154, which should shake up Ranked play. I'm curious to see how people decide to engage with Survival Mode, because I have seen card prices slowly tick up as people prepare their accounts for this new gameplay mode.
Big changes brewing and I couldn't be more excited. Until next time...
