Hello Everyone!
Wishing you and your family a blessed Eid filled with happiness, prosperity and good health.
As it is the 2nd day of Eid-ul-fitr, I would like to share with you guys how I spent the 2nd day of Eid.
We woke up at 10 in the morning. There were no plans for today. My parents were thinking of inviting someone to our house. In due course, the phone rang. On the other side, there was my father's cousin.
She had recently come from Canada. She asked if we had any plans today and invited us to have lunch together.
I was so excited to meet her because me and my sisters were meeting her first time.
We all got up and started to get ready. I wore a Shalwar Kameez which is also our national dress. It was a beautiful dress. I like it so much.
We click some photos for memories and then move towards our destination.
We went to her house, she warmly welcomed everyone. I liked the way she greeted us. Then we sat and had a small talk, she had a great sense of humour. Her jokes, talking style, the way she laughed, and her dressing everything was so nice.
I enjoyed her company a lot. Her name was Shahida which means 'one who is considered beautiful' and yes her name suits her very well.
Then it was time for lunch. I helped with the dishes and set the dining table properly. The food was so yummy. She had made plau, qeema matar, beef, salad with boiled corn, chaat, and kheer. In the end, she served ice cream. Everything was perfect.
Then we went out to see her garden, what a lovely garden she had. Everything was so gorgeous. I asked her about how she managed her garden and she told me that they had hired someone to look after and take special care of the plants. I was so amazed that everything was planned and the grass was levelled.
I took some photos there. We spent much time there and then we came back home.
After that, my father Mamu visited our house with his family. I served tea with chaat and cake in front of them.
So according to my dad, I am a tea-making pro! He always says I make delicious tea and I like it when someone praises me on something.
We had a little bit of talk and then they went back.
For dinner, I made noodles for myself. My father went out with his friends. At midnight, he arrived with a burger and pizza. We hugged him and then we all enjoyed eating and having fun.
For me, this Eid was the best among the rest.
I hope that your Eid will be as great as mine.
