Hello good evening lovely people on hive, it has been a great day today and I’m glad for how far the day went. Today I share with you some of the activities I did.

I’m working for Ghana Enterprise Agency, a branch in the Kwabre East Municipal in the Ashanti region of Ghana. Our main aim as an agency is to ensure growth among Small and medium enterprises by assisting them with trainings and helping them acquire financial support for their businesses.
Today as part of my work, I paid a visit to one of our client who is into Shoe Making.
As usual we had our conversation with regards to the visit. I made it quite brief and told him I came there only to see how business is booming.
Of course every business owners everywhere are facing challenges and there is no way you will go without hearing such challenges.
I introduced him to A Grant that the world bank through our outfit is offering to Business owners who were heavily hit by the Covid-19 Pandemic.
I gave him all the necessary guidelines that will allow him to receive some of this grant.
He mentioned that, the work in some years back was really going on well, as he was able to export some but current happenings have made him lose interest in the job and is planning to even sell some of his working machines.
As we can see from the picture, he has so many machines but few workers, because most of the workers have laid off. This was due to the pandemic and the rising prices increase of raw materials.
Upon hearing this, I urge him not to quit but rather refocus and start trying again, every successful businessman went through difficulties but then if he is able to withstand, he becomes successful.
He was very happy for my visit and also revealing the plans of the government to support businesses to him.
I planned of visiting about 2 people today but due to the rains, I only visited just one person.
All this I’m doing, I’m not only supervising but I want to become a very successful businessman someday to come and I need to gather much information from people who have become successful as well.
