Hello hello internet people! How are you? As you already know I'm a pastry chef and I work in a place that works as a restaurant, cafeteria and pastry shop, recently it was workers day, the first of May, and the company wanted to give us a kind of incentive, at the beginning it was rumoured that they would give us an extra bonus in the salary, others said that they would only give us a voucher so we could taste any dish of the restaurant or cafeteria, so we were all waiting and guess what? Fortunately they gave us both, the voucher and the bonus 😀 so I didn't think twice and with the bonus I took the opportunity to fulfill a goal I had set for a long time, to get a tattoo of my favourite saga, Harry Potter 😊 What do you think?

Como ya ustedes saben soy chef pastelera y trabajo en un lugar que funciona como restaurante, cafetería y pastelería, recientemente fue el día del trabajador, el primro de mayo, y la empresa quiso darnos una especie de incentivo, al inicio se rumoreba que nos darían un bono extra en el sueldo, otros decían que solo nos darían un vale para que pudiesemos degustar cualquier platillo del restaurante o la cafetería, así que todos estábamos a la expectativa y ¿adivinen qué? Afortunadamente nos dieron ambos, el vale y el bono 😀 así que no lo pensé dos veces y con el bono aproveché para cumplir una meta que tenía planteada desde hace tiempo, hacerme un tatuaje referente a mi saga favorita, Harry Potter 😊 ¿Qué les parece
And with the voucher I was given to choose between the dishes in the restaurant and/or the patisserie, I chose a delicious Caesar salad which was very, very good. My forte is not savoury cuisine, but I have worked in this field on several occasions and the truth is that I consider that I have a good palate to evaluate, and I can honestly say that it is one of the best I have tasted 🤗.
Y con el vale que me dieron para elegir entre los platillos del restaurante y/o la pastelería, elegí una deliciosa ensalada César la cual estaba muy peromuy buena. Mi fuerte no es la cocina salada, pero he trabajado en varias ocasiones en este rubro y la verdad es que considero que tengo buen paladar para evaluar, y honestamente puedo decir que es de las mejores que he probado 🤗.
I took advantage of my free time to enjoy my delicious lunch. Although the Caesar salad has a unique recipe since it was invented by a chef of the same name in a restaurant in Baja California Mexico, every restaurant in the world gives it its own personal and special touch, this one for example contains lettuce, bread croutons and bacon brunoise, and in Strada, that is, the restaurant where I work, it is made with a grilled chicken supreme as a garnish.
Aproveché mi tiempo libre para degustar mi rico almuerzo. A pesar de que la ensalada César tiene una receta única desde que la inventó un chef del mismo nombre en un rstaurant de Baja California México, cada restaurante en el mundo le da su toque personal y especial, esta por ejemplo contiene lechuga, crotones de pan y tocino en brunoise, y en Strada, es ecir, este restaurante donde trabajo, se hace con una suprema de pollo a la plancha como contorno.
And as a dressing it has a rich Caesar dressing consisting of pasteurised egg yolks, vinegared anchovies, lemon juice, mustard and parmesan cheese 😋 and this gave it an even more delicious touch, perfect because it allows me to have a balanced diet, now that I'm taking care of my diet a little more.
Y como aderezo tiene un rico aderezo César que consta de yemas de huevo pasteurizadas, anchoas vinagre, zumo de limón, mostaza y queso parmesano 😋 y esto le dio un toque aún más delicioso, esperfecto porue me permite llevar una dieta balanceada, ahora que estoy cuidando un poco más mi alimentación.
On the other hand, of course, in my area I also had to work for my colleagues 😊 making some desserts for them.
Por otra parte desde luego que en mi area a mí también me tocó trabajar para mis compañeros 😊 haciendo algunos postres para ellos.
But the one they liked the most, as well as the customers, is the brownie, thank God everyone likes my recipe, so I had to make a lot of this dessert, because I wanted to take a slice home myself. All in all, it was a wonderful way to treat ourselves for workers' day, and everyone was in agreement.
Pero el que más les gustó, al igual que a los clientes es el brownie, gracias a Dios a todo el mundo le gusta mi receta, así que tuve que hacer mucha cantidad de este postre, porque yo misma también quise llevarme una rebanada a casa. En resumidas cuentas, fue una maravillosa manera de agasajarnos por el día del trabajador, y todos estuvieron de acuerdo.
