Hello everyone, it's me @elshgrce!
Before I start, let me ask you something first. How are you feeling fellow Hivers? I hope you are all doing alright.
Transitioning from Senior High School to College is really difficult due to the differences in the environment. Both has it's negative and positive aspects in a way where we need to constantly adjust ourselves in order to fit in to its standards and to survive.
Are you curious about how our Major Exam went earlier? Well, I am here to tell you all about it.
College Exams can be pretty stressful in most cases. The feeling of riding a rollercoaster like when you're thrown up to the sky, feeling that you can do anything you want. But of course, life doesn't always stay at the top. There will be times when the ride will bring you down at a fast pace in which you are not prepared for the fall. But the feeling when your stomach drops as you get down from being up in the sky is quite satisfying in a way where the only thing that goes in your mind is that the ride is now finally close to being over.
Our Midterms Week is quite difficult in a way where we need to balance studying, going to classes and as well as practicing for a big event in our Founder's Day Celebration. We've all had our ups and downs during Midterms Week, and I am just thankful that it is now finally over.
During on our last day of the Exam, a series of unpredictable events occurred in our way. It was full of laughter, cramming, regrets, sadness, teamwork and more. Despite having the Midterm Examination for our Major Subject, we still had the time to laugh in certain situations.
Before our exam, my classmates and I decided to have a group study in our classroom since our other Teacher decided to let us utilize her time to study for our next subject since we were done with her Exam anyways. We took turns in questioning and answering each other since we cannot simply do this ourselves. It is really nice to have a good circle in our College Days since it really helps us find a better path.
The exam was really hard for me there are some items that I have forgotten and was really tricky. After we've finished, there were a time when my friends and I did a debriefing regarding the exam, a friend and classmate of mine only answered 62 questions out of 80, since her test paper didn't consist of the last page. It was really funny since she was so confident when she finished while we we're confused on how she finished really early. It all went good for her in the end since she was able to take the missing items, it was one of the moments I could never forget during our Midterms Exams.
Having a good environment is really good for our development, especially for a college student. That is why I'm really thankful for everyone who helped me survive here. It is really important to surround yourself in the right environment and people since who you surround yourself with, says a lot about the kind of person you are.
Did you know that after we finished our major exam, we actually decided to reward ourselves for making through the day. We went to a local cafe here in our hometown, called Star Frappe. Despite being unaware if we passed or not, we still rewarded ourselves.
Since We are College Students, of course, We reward ourselves even if we Fail the Exams, just kidding. In order to release some pressure, it is important to give something to yourself because you deserve a break. Choosing to see the bright side of life is not running away from your problems, it is simply looking for a rainbow after the storm.
Don't pressure yourself too much and rest when needed. You'll feel so much better once you've given yourself a chance to rest. Never disregard your Mental Health because everything within you will be affected. Thank you for reading and I hope you have an amazing day!
