Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well, and it’s my first time to post a blog here.
Last Friday, I woke up early to prepare myself because my friend and I were going to process our passport in the city because we lived in the province. We took the van and I seated in the window seat as I am that person who gets easily vomit. It’s 7:30 in the morning when we began our ride. We drove to the city for almost 2 hours away from home. The fare that we gave was 250php.
Because there’s still time, we headed to the printing shop first to photocopy the needed requirements for our passport processing, like PSA, valid id and the one that DFA emailed to us. After this, we take a rest for a bit while having conversation. She said that our friend will also come to accompany us but then our friend said, she was unable to come with us since she’s something to do in their school, so we were thinking next time to be together dining or unwinding in a cozy restaurant. To be honest, I missed some of my friends from college. It’s been a year when we didn’t bump with each other for the reason of that some were married and have their own work so everyone has a hectic schedule, and a lot of responsibilities to tackled.
Anyways, let’s go back to the main part of this blog. My friend noticed that she didn’t take a pen when she saw my pen in my bag. So she decided to buy in the bookstore area of the city. I received her message that she’s still in queue and I think she spent ten minutes there because others also were buying for some stuff for school.
And the day were not sunny, glad that it didn’t rain early, we both forget our umbrella, and I too did not take jacket because I’m complacent that the weather is good.
As we reach this pedestrian lane, we stopped. My friend remembered when she was alone, an enforcer scolded her because she continued crossing even it’s time for pedestrian to stop. She felt embarrass that time that’s why she doesn’t want to cross this pedestrian lane. Well, she doesn’t do it that way since because she was rushing at that time.
We continued our walk going to DFA SM, Baguio. While walking, we discussed where it was located. It’s funny though because both of us doesn’t know. We just laughed while saying, we’re gonna find it. Hahaha. Although we always visit the SM but we just go at the top of it. When we arrived at the mall, we both tried to find it but cannot find. We ask a vendor there but she turned out mad because of her voice. We just say thank you and feel a bit pissed off because of her way of speaking. Haha. But at the end we understand her maybe she was tired and hasn’t a mood to answer our query. So went towards the guard to ask about it. Finally, we reached the area where it was. A lot of people were there who were in the queue.
We stopped by in the guard there, she checked our documents and tell us to stay in the priority seat. We both feel hungry at that time plus I wanted to pee. What I took was only water. Since our appointment time is near, we decided to wait until we finish to process our documents needed for our passport.
Thanks god, after thirty minutes, we were called. When we were in the area, we didn’t hold our laugh that is we didn’t read what was written stating that, “Kindly wait for your turn to be called”. Because my friend stood up quickly to have her documents checked but the staff said, wait for a moment. We didn’t realize there was a reminder posted there. That’s why it’s a reminder for us too that we should always read the signs that are posted, so we know what to do next.
When our documents were verified, we go to the next area which is passing of documents. I think we stayed there for one hour and thirty minutes. When it’s my time turn, the staff asked me about my other Ids, I am glad that I take my national id. The reason that I need other id was because my PSA was in late registered. The last thing was biometrics capture, like picture, fingerprints, and digital signature.
Here, it tested our patience to wait for our turn to be called.
PS: I didn't take some photos here because it's prohibited.
After this, we both were starving. So, we decided to eat in Mang Inasal, a famous restaurant that many people dine in and take out food. We both ordered Paa Large and iced tea. A lot of dishes you can choose from it. We really enjoyed the food while the conversation is going.
It’s late in the afternoon when we decided to find a van to ride in. While crossing, we decided to buy something else going back home. I buy cooked corn, and apples. It’s been a while since I didn’t eat corn so, it’s a good timing that I saw this.
We also buy breads, a lot of breads to choose. I buy 5 in banana muffin, and 5 in cheese rolls. It was a tiring day, but it's worth it. This is for today, see you in another blog.😀😍
