How are you, beautiful Hivers? How's your week been? Let me share with you this pretty cozy alfresco area at Ayala.
I love the beautiful alfresco dining area set-up of Ayala Center Cebu. A couple of weeks ago, my good friend Hannah and I went out for a quick coffee fix and our feet brought us to Ayala. It was the closest mall to our place and we like that almost everything we need can be found in the shops and stores inside the mall.
We talked a lot about the crazy random "busy" things of life while both of us were figuring out how could we ever be "more" and choose "more", you know. When people said that one will have a 20-ish life crisis, believe it because it's probably true lol. This current state of our lives pretty much defines the word crisis for us, we're unsure without any directions. But instead of crying about it, I've realized that we can embrace our uncertain and troubled 20-something-year-old selves, because one glorious day, in the future, we'll laugh at how all of this has played out.
In the spirit of trying to cheer ourselves up, I have written this timely reminder:
Learn to be in the moment. Stop regretting your past. You can never undo what's been done. Don't cry over spilled milk. Your tears won't let you fix what you already did. Instead, learn from that mistake and move forward. Stop obsessing and overthinking because the answers are not there, fella. Stop worrying about what tomorrow will bring or what the future looks like. There is no certainty about what the next day holds. It's a drudgery to do so. Don't spend too much time worrying because you will miss what is in the present. Instead, work hard and pray hard for the future you truly, badly want; the future you know you deserve. Do not ever try to time travel back to that day in the past or to be busy worrying about that day in the future. The tendency is, you will miss a lot! Instead, focus on the now. BE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT. Listen to the present's voice and enjoy. Be content as much as you possibly can. It's alright when you haven't figured everything in life yet. What is important is that you're learning and growing. Live in the now! Smile with hope in those eyes, courage in your soul, confident that you are always a step closer to that dream you've always wanted because your past experiences have shaped you to be a fighter in this all-chaotic-but-equally-magical-and-colourful world, or the universe rather.
The transparent-looking "tents" look perfect in contrast to all the greens.
There are plants everywhere and they definitely enliven the space!
Surely, it's a breather in this busy city, don't you think?
Think and act green.
When looking up, you find this gorgeous decoration.
It is a safe space to dine, chill and relax as you are surrounded by all these luscious plants.
The place is inviting and cozy!
This is a different angle, but same cool.
