While in Argentina we are in the winter school break and the common people take the opportunity to visit the best tourist destinations in the country, my friends and I decided to take advantage of the occasion to spend as many days locked up in a house in the middle of the mountains and away from as many people as possible. Well this sounds a bit extreme and maybe I'm exaggerating, because in reality the only thing we wanted was to spend some time together and on this date the three of us coincided. Our plan went perfectly and in our own way, we were able to have some great days that I hope will be repeated very soon ❤️.
Mientras en Argentina estamos en el receso escolar de invierno y el común de la gente aprovecha para visitar los mejores destinos turísticos del país, mis amigos y yo decidimos aprovechar la ocasión para pasar la mayor cantidad de días encerrados en una casa en medio de las montañas y alejados de la mayor cantidad de gente posible. Bueno esto suena un poco extremo y quizás estoy exagerando, porque en realidad lo único que queríamos era pasar algo de tiempo juntos y en esta fecha coicncidimos los tres. Nuestro plan salió a la perfección y a nuestra manera, pudimos tener unos días geniales que espero que se repitan muy pronto ❣️.
I had several days off from my job in real life because due to the school break, tutoring was also on hold, so everything lined up perfectly. The plan was to visit my friend who lives in the province of Córdoba: he would also have a few days being alone at home, but only until my friend and I got there. As for the trip, this was the first time I bought a bus ticket in a fully reclining seat and it was a great decision: it took us 11 hours to get there and most of the time I was able to sleep comfortably 😅.
Yo tuve varios días libres de mi trabajo en la vida real porque, debido al receso escolar, las clases particulares también estaban suspendidas, así que todo se alineó perfectamente. El plan fue visitar a mi amigo que vive en la provincia de Córdoba: él también tendría unos días estando solo en su casa, pero eso sería hasta que mi amiga y yo llegáramos hasta allí. En cuanto al viaje, esta fue la primera vez que compré un pasaje de micro en un asiento completamente reclinable y fue una gran decisión: tardamos 11 horas en llegar y la mayor parte del tiempo pude ir durmiendo cómodamente 😅.
My friend lives in a very quiet town and very close to the beautiful Cordoba mountains. For me, who is used to a noisy house very close to the train station, so much silence was good for me to disconnect for a while. We had already been here in the summer, when all the vegetation was green and abundant, but now the landscape was a bit dry. We were hoping to see some snow, but on the contrary, the weather gave us the most spring-like days we could have in the middle of the winter 😅.
Mi amigo vive en un pueblo muy tranquilo y muy cerca de las hermosas sierras cordobesas. Para mí que estoy acostumbrada a una casa ruidosa muy cerca de la estación de trenes, tanto silencio me vino bien para desconectar un rato. Nosotras ya habíamos estado aquí en el verano, cuando toda la vegetación estaba verde y abundante, pero ahora el paisaje estaba un poco seco. Teníamos la esperanza de ver algo de nieve, pero al contrario, el clima nos regaló los días más primaverales que pudimos tener en el medio del invierno 😅.

During all these days we spent eating as if we were never going to eat again (and in this I am not exaggerating). My friend likes to cook so every day he prepared something different for us and all vegetarian recipes that I might not replicate again, so I had to take the opportunity to enjoy them 😂.
Durante todos estos días nos pasamos comiendo como si no fuéramos a comer nunca más (y en esto sí que no exagero). A mi amigo le gusta cocinar así que cada día nos preparó algo diferente y todas recetas vegetarianas que quizás yo no vuelva a replicar, así que tenía que aprovechar para disfrutarlas 😂.

He also took the opportunity to create his makeup content on my face. I'm not very used to so much paint on top, I usually just wear mascara and lipstick, but it was a good experience to have all that artistic makeup on top 😅.
También aprovechó para crear su contenido de maquillaje en mi cara. Yo no estoy muy acostumbrada a tanta pintura encima, generalmente solo uso máscara de pestañas y labial, pero fue una buena experiencia tener todo ese maquillaje artístico encima 😅.

As for work, because of the way I was, I knew that I wasn't going to be able to go ten days without doing something productive, so I brought my computer with me to be able to keep up with my blog activities. Unfortunately, the internet signal did not work that well for me, just a little in the morning and that was when I made sure to do what I had to do, but the rest of the time I was incommunicado. Anyway, this helped me to disconnect a little but not completely, I don't know if you understand me :p. Despite everything, I want to stress that writing with a view of the mountains through the window was a great experience and this reinforces my desire to be a digital nomad, something that I think about daily since I joined Hive. Intention and it is fulfilled, it is what the universe has been showing me until now ❣️.
En cuanto al trabajo, por mi forma de ser yo sabía que no iba a poder estar diez días sin hacer algo productivo así que llevé mi computadora conmigo para poder estar al día con mis actividades de blog. Lamentablemente la señal de internet no me funcionaba tan bien, apenas un poco en la mañana y era cuando me aseguraba de hacer lo que debía, pero el resto del tiempo estaba incomunicada. De todas formas esto me sirvió para desconectar un poco pero no del todo, no sé si me entienden :p. A pesar de todo, quiero remarcar que escribir con la vista de las montañas por la ventana fue una experiencia genial y esto refuerza mis ganas de ser nómada digital, algo que pienso a diario desde que me uní a Hive. Intenciona y se te cumple, es lo que me viene demostrando el universo hasta ahora ❣️.
This trip ended just yesterday morning and it's the first time ever that I'm writing about a trip so soon (I usually upload my posts months later :-p), but this time I'm doing it differently. In my super optimistic mind I had planned to continue with my sewing projects yesterday afternoon, but the weather was so bad that I could only lie in bed all day and watch TV 😂. I will surely resume all the sewing work in a while and upload my progress tomorrow or when I have it ready. The important thing is that I'm not abandoning my delayed WIP projects in the Needle Work Monday community, I'm just putting them off a bit longer 😅.
Este viaje terminó apenas ayer por la mañana y es la primera vez en la historia que estoy escribiendo sobre un viaje tan pronto (generalmente subo mis publicaciones meses después :-p), pero esta vez lo estoy haciendo diferente. En mi mente super optimista me había propuesto continuar con mis proyectos de costura ayer por la tarde, pero el clima estuvo tan feo que solo pude estar acostada todo el día mirando la tele 😂. Seguramente retome todo el trabajo de costura dentro de un rato y suba mis avances mañana o cuando lo tenga listo. Lo importante es que no abandonaré mis proyectos postergados de WIP en la comunidad Needle Work Monday, solo los estoy postergando un poco más 😅.
