As I had mentioned before, one of the reasons that I don't like here is that there is no nearest fast-food chain, and even 7/11 was at least a ten-minute walk away. Though the bright side was, at least, instead of buying not-so-healthy foods, I was forced to cook on my own. Thus, one afternoon, while on my way to the local market with my son, I saw a small food kiosk just in the next block. Not only that, it sells milk tea!
The kiosk was not huge, but a small table and chairs were enough to accommodate at least three customers.
What was your best-selling milk tea Ate? I asked the seller.
Try our salted caramel. She recommended.
Okay, just the regular size and one fried noodle, too, with Japanese siomai as toppings.
While waiting, Caleb and I sat at the corner, and he was busy looking around. It was beside the road, so there was a lot to see.
While preparing for my order, the seller and I had a random conversation. It was more about her past life, politics, her mother, and anything under the sun.
And this little rascal started to get bored. 😆

The milk tea was served first. I had my first sip to try it, and it was good for less than a dollar.
Caleb started to get mad as he also wanted to have a sip.
Little hands wanted to snatch my drinks. He would bend or even jump on my lap. He scratched me and pulled my hair when I didn't let him. Goodness, I don't believe in superstitions, but when I was pregnant, cats made me mad! There was even a time I told my furry housemate that I would throw his cat away. Why?
It went inside my room and slept on my bed. Now, my son was like a cat who loved to scratch me and even our couch.
What's more, there was another customer beside us enjoying her fried noodles. The lady eating beside us was friendly and even talking to him.

He wasn't happy at all 😆.
The noodles were finally served, and I started eating as I was starving.
As much as I wanted to let my son taste it, he couldn't yet. So, even though he was getting anxious, this powerful Mama was still able to eat her food 🤣😆.
After paying, we left.
It was past five in the afternoon and the sun was still up. Sunrays was still hurting a little.
In fairness with our local Brgy, they are getting serious about implementing segregation of trash. It was a great help that there is an area where the community could throw non-biodegradable waste.
I was hoping everyone was complying. Knowing how hard people to manage now.
After looking around, we went home with a satisfied tummy BUT!
Usual, I am too weak with caffeine that drinking in the afternoon could make me awake the entire night 🤣.
