It was a peaceful late afternoon when we went upstairs with our coffee.
Our cozy house is nestled right beside a lively railroad track.
Every day, the train would make its grand entrance.
Our windows would rattle gently, and sometimes dust would dance in the sunlight as the train sped by.
Our children loved to watch the colorful engine along, their eyes wide with wonder.
However, there were days when the train's noisy passage would disturb their peaceful sleep, shaking them awake.
So we cover their ears every time a train comes.
This afternoon, as we savored our drinks, a train suddenly rumbled past below.
I instinctively reached for my camera and captured the moment.
I also recorded the train as it moved through the landscape.
Unlike the passenger trains that carried people to faraway places, this train was dedicated to transporting heavy loads of gravel — crashing and clattering along the tracks.
The ground vibrated as it rumbled past, carrying its cargo of crushed rock.
The sound was deep and steady, echoed through the quiet neighborhood, filling the air with a steady hum.
The video I captured was not just the train, but also the beautiful scenery: lush green fields and fluffy white clouds.
After enjoying the gravel train, we sat there longer, enjoying the serene view.
We saw two majestic carabao grazing peacefully, their gentle movements harmonizing the tranquility of the surroundings.
Above them, the sky was a canvas of drama, with clouds dancing across the horizon and the sun casting a warm glow.
But what truly caught my eye was the flooded paddy field nearby, which reflected the sky and sun like a perfect mirror.
The water's surface was so still that it created a stunning visual effect.
It was a truly unforgettable afternoon, with the warmth of the coffee in my hand, the gravel train, and the scenery.
