Hello dear friends, I hope you are well and in good spirits. Wishing you all continued health, success, and happiness. Today, I’d like to share another chapter from my daily life, and I hope you’ll find a few moments to read it, enjoy it, and perhaps even support it with your vote.
Like most days, I started early, waking up before dawn to perform my morning prayers. With winter now behind us, the routine has become much easier, and rising early no longer feels like a struggle. After completing ablution, I headed to the mosque. Beginning the day with prayer and reflection always sets a calm and uplifting tone that stays with me for the rest of the day. After offering my supplications, I returned home.
Lately, I’ve replaced my village morning walks with a bit of home-based physical activity. The time I save is now spent helping out in our lawn—removing weeds and watering the plants. I kept at it until it was time for breakfast. I sat down with my parents for our morning meal, and once we were done, each of us got on with our respective responsibilities.
With spring in full swing, the days are packed with tasks. Staying at home during this season means lending a hand in various duties, especially those tied to our agricultural work. Having grown up around these tasks, I’ve developed a good grasp of what’s required, and my parents rely on me a lot, knowing things get done when I’m around. This week, pesticide spraying has been the major focus. I had only one orchard left to take care of, and I managed to complete it before lunchtime today.
Following lunch, I headed towards the village market and caught up with a friend who runs a shop there. On a whim, we planned a small outing to Nilnag Lake to unwind. I quickly returned home, packed a few essentials, and drove back to the market to pick him up. A couple of other friends joined us as well, and soon we were on our way.
Our group gatherings always involve good food, so we ordered some fried chicken from a local eatery. While the food was being prepared, we took a leisurely stroll around the lake. The fresh breeze and peaceful surroundings offered the perfect break. The lake area was lively—some people were quietly fishing, while others relaxed by the shore, gazing at the gentle ripples on the water’s surface.
When our food arrived, we took it with us deep into the woods surrounding the lake. The meal was enjoyable, though we did joke a bit about how tough the chicken was. Still, it didn’t take away from the experience. We laughed, teased one another, and simply enjoyed being together like old times.
Later in the evening, we made our way back, as one of our friends had to reopen his shop. I dropped everyone off at the market, returned home, and picked up where I had left off—tending to the lawn and pulling out weeds until the daylight faded.
That wraps up my day. Thanks so much for reading. Wishing you all a peaceful and productive time ahead.
