Happy day to everyone, dear friends of the community. I hope you are all doing great and having a wonderful weekend. Remember a couple of days ago when I told you about a new exhibition at the museum and mentioned that there might be another one? Well, the day has arrived, so I went and saw some new works of art, this time not focused solely on paintings, but you'll see that later. I hope you enjoy them.
I must say, firsthand, that on this occasion the works presented were by a local artist. I'm sorry I don't have the name; I heard it several times, but I'm very bad at remembering. When I arrived at the museum, they had already started the opening of the new room. I was pleasantly surprised because, as I mentioned in another post, I love seeing art in its different forms of expression, and this time there were paintings, figures, audiovisual material, models, a little bit of everything.
Feliz día para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad, espero que todos se encuentren genial y estén pasando un buen fin de semana. ¿Recuerdan que hace un par de días les hablé de una nueva exposición en el museo y mencioné que posiblemente habría una nueva? Pues el día ha llegado, por lo que asistí y estuve observando nuevas obras de arte, esta vez no centradas únicamente en pinturas, pero esto lo verán más adelante, espero que las disfruten.
Debo decir, de primera mano, que en esta oportunidad las obras presentadas eran de un artista local. Lo siento por no tener el nombre, lo escuché varias veces, pero soy muy malo para recordar. Cuando llegué al museo, habían empezado con la apertura de la nueva sala. Me llevé una grata sorpresa, porque como bien les mencioné en otra publicación, adoro ver el arte en sus diferentes formas de expresión y en esta oportunidad había pinturas, figuras, material audiovisual, maquetas, un poco de todo.

Walking around the place and admiring each work of art takes time, so I stopped and talked a little with people who, like me, were interested in this new exhibition, which was obviously very varied. Rather than being a problem, this is a great advantage, because it allows you to connect with different people in different ways, and this is what art is based on, or at least that is my perception of it.
I focused a lot on the paintings, I won't deny it, because I consider it one of the main ways in which artists seek to convey their feelings, and I firmly believe that it is a little more digestible than other forms of art. For example, there was a sculpture there that I found visually appealing and that caught my attention, but I didn't understand what it was or what it was trying to convey; I just found its colors and peculiar shape interesting.
El ir recorriendo el lugar y admirar cada obra de arte se lleva su tiempo, por ello me detenía, hablaba un poco con las personas que al igual que yo, estaban interesadas en esta nueva exposición, la cual como es evidente era muy variada y esto más allá de ser un problema es una gran ventaja, porque permite conectar con distintas personas de diferentes maneras y en esto se basa el arte o al menos es mi percepción de ello.
Me centré mucho en las pinturas, no lo voy a negar, porque, considero que es una de las formas principales en las que el artista busca transmitir sus sentimientos y creo firmemente que es un poco más digerible a diferencia de otras, por ejemplo, una escultura que se encontraba allí, visualmente me parece atractiva y llama mi atención, pero no entendí qué era o qué podía transmitir, simplemente sus colores y su forma tan peculiar eran interesantes.

During the tour, I heard some people talking about art. I didn't meet the main artist, who was the star of the show. I guess there were a lot of people interested in chatting with him to learn a little about his perspective on art, and I would have liked to hear about that too. I'm still intrigued by some of the works, such as a figure made of metal pieces in the shape of a vortex, but I guess I'll have to live with that question, unless by chance I come across it again in this gallery.
There are many paintings that caught my attention, some a little gloomy and others more peaceful, but this type of art is so subjective that I suppose some people will find it more welcoming than others. Ironically, it is this gloomy aspect that makes them more interesting, because I personally spent several minutes trying to examine every detail of them. Perhaps my mind was trying to find some reason for it. What can I say? Sometimes the mind works in interesting ways.
Entre el recorrido escuchaba algunas personas hablar de arte, no me crucé con el artista principal que era el protagonista, supongo que había muchas personas interesadas en charlar con él para conocer un poco su punto de vista sobre el arte y diría que me hubiese gustado también escuchar sobre eso, todavía mantengo la intriga de algunas obras, como una figura hecha a base de piezas de metal y tiene forma de vórtice, pero supongo que me mantendré con esa duda, al menos que por casualidad lo vuelva a conseguir en esta sala.
Hay muchas pinturas que llamaron mi atención, algunas un poco tétricas y otras más tranquilas, pero este tipo de arte se hace tan subjetivo que supongo habrá personas que lo encontrarán más acogedor que otros e irónicamente, este tipo de aspecto tétricas es lo que los vuelve más interesantes, porque yo personalmente estuve varios minutos intentando detallar cada parte de estos, quizás mi mente intentaba encontrar algún razonamiento de ello, qué les puedo decir, a veces la mente funciona de maneras interesantes.

Something that didn't happen at the previous exhibition was that at this one they gave us a small drink. I was honestly quite thirsty, but what I didn't expect was that it would be an alcoholic drink called sangria. It doesn't have that much alcohol in it, and the amount was small, but I must say that I don't usually drink alcohol; it's not my thing. However, as I was quite thirsty, I didn't pass up the opportunity. There was also music in the room. It was a very complete exhibition, from the presentation to the end.
Algo que no ocurrió en la exposición anterior, fue que en esta nos dieron una pequeña bebida, yo honestamente tenía bastante sed, lo que no esperaba es que fuese una bebida de alcohol llamada sangría, no tiene tanto alcohol ciertamente y la cantidad fue poca, pero debo decir que yo no suelo consumir alcohol, no es de mis atractivos, pero como tenía bastante sed no dejé pasar la oportunidad. También había música en la sala, fue una exposición bastante completa desde la presentación, hasta la finalización de la misma.

This was another day filled with art, which is never enough, because there is always something new to observe, learn, and feel. As I said on another occasion, art may be subjective, but generating an emotion in each person who sees it is undoubtedly pure magic that connects people. That's all for today. Este fue otro día lleno de bastante arte, lo cual nunca es suficiente, porque siempre hay algo nuevo para observar, conocer y sentir, por lo cual como dije en otra ocasión, el arte puede ser subjetivo, pero el generar una emoción en cada persona que lo ve, sin duda es magia pura que conecta a las personas. Esto ha sido todo por el día de hoy, espero que, al igual que la anterior publicación, esta esté llena de muchas fotografías que terminen llegando a ustedes de alguna manera u otra.
