Hello there, dear Hivers. I'm back again with a new blog, a blog that can tell how my week was last week and a story from the field. So let's talk about it.
Last week, November 4-8, we celebrated our intramurals at the Cebu Technological University-Danao Campus. So intramuirals are organized sports or recreational activities. There are so many sports that they offer, just like basketball, volleyball, arnis, karate do, taekwondo, and many more. There is also a pageantry that was looking for Mr. and Mrs. Intramurals and also Mr. and Mrs. PASUC. On Day One, we started a preparation or a parade that will be held around our campus since our campus is so big. And the event will be held at our oval, where field sports can be held there. And when we arrived there, there was bench cheering, lighting of touch to start the main event, and looking for Mr. and Mrs. Intrams.
And it is so good because it has food stalls that are displayed here at our campus that, if you want to eat, you can choose anything you want because there are so many foods to choose from.
On Day 2, it is the start of all the games, so since I'm a player, I need to be early at the campus because our play was at 8 as at 8 a.m. My sport is basketball, girls, even though I don't want to play that since my neighbor pushed me to join, so I need to join. Since first year, I always play basketball, but I think I'm not good enough. On first game since I was the one whos tall at our group I'm always in, so first game were win, but at second game were loss because the the other team was so strong and don't want to fail. And after our game, it was so exhausting, so I need to take a rest.
On Day 3, we have a last game in 5x5 but I didn't set an alarm so I didn't wake up early, and all I do is to watch with my team because I was late. And in their 3x3 my the 4 member of our team was picked and yes they are the champ of 3x3 on 5x5 were only 3rd but its okay with us. So in the afternoon since I was also a Officer in Charge in Karate Do and Taekwondo I need to be there, so our players is only 1 in taekwondo and 2 on karate do, our karate do players was won the one won a gold medal for Kata category and the one won silver in Shobu we are so proud of them although they are a late applied players, Our taekwondo player hasnt play the game because he's also a basketball player but the judge said its still okay. And at night we watch the dance sport, it was so nice even though they are only 2 pairs they did compete and gave us a nice dance.
On Day 4 the play was beach volleyball and they held it on a beach resort, it is so far so I dont went there, but still there is more play in our university but E-games was boring so I didn't watch.
On Day 5 there was still an activity, in morning there was a hip-hop dance, folk dance, short sweet play, chorale contest, pageantry and many more. Our department was so blessed because we won the hip-hop dance, festival showdown, chorale, and the Pageantry.
This week was so exhausted but yet it was fun, seeing other students won on their different sports was nice and I was so proud of them.
