I hope you are all doing well and have already planned how you will spend your well-deserved weekend break. It is always important to take a moment to disconnect, breathe deeply, and enjoy our surroundings. For my part, I hope this weekend will be much quieter than the last, which was quite hectic and full of work commitments.
As I mentioned in previous posts, this week I have been working mainly at the Sunsol Ecoland hotel, with the aim of achieving optimal quality in the desalination plant's water tank. It is a job that requires precision, patience, and dedication, but it also gives me the opportunity to be in contact with beautiful places full of life.
I left early in the morning, taking advantage of the spectacular weather. The sky was clear, the air was fresh, and every corner of the landscape seemed to shine brighter than on previous days. That combination of nature and tranquility filled me with energy. I also felt very confident and happy because my husband would be accompanying me on this long journey. Sharing these moments with him always makes everything more special.

Espero que estén muy bien y que ya tengan planificado cómo será su merecido descanso de fin de semana. Siempre es importante regalarse un momento para desconectar, respirar profundo y disfrutar de lo que nos rodea. Yo, por mi parte, espero que este fin de semana sea mucho más tranquilo que el anterior, que estuvo bastante movido y lleno de compromisos laborales.
Como les he comentado en publicaciones anteriores, esta semana he estado trabajando principalmente en el hotel Sunsol Ecoland, con el objetivo de lograr una calidad óptima en el tanque de agua de la planta desalinizadora. Es un trabajo que requiere precisión, paciencia y dedicación, pero también me da la oportunidad de estar en contacto con lugares hermosos y llenos de vida.
Salí bien temprano en la mañana, aprovechando un clima espectacular. El cielo estaba despejado, el aire fresco, y cada rincón del paisaje parecía brillar más que días anteriores. Esa combinación de naturaleza y tranquilidad me llenó de energía. Además, me sentía muy confiada y feliz porque mi esposo me acompañaría en este largo recorrido. Compartir estos momentos con él siempre hace que todo sea más especial.
The road to Ecoland is lined with beautiful scenery. Mountains, lush vegetation, and a blue sky that seems to embrace everything. I can't help but stop to admire the view and, of course, capture every inspiring corner with my camera. I love being able to share these views that fill my soul with such joy.
El camino hacia Ecoland está lleno de paisajes hermosos . Montañas, una hermosa vegetación, y un cielo azul que parece abrazarlo todo. No puedo evitar detenerme a contemplar y, por supuesto, capturar con mi cámara cada rincón que me inspira. Me encanta poder compartir con ustedes estas vistas que tanto me llenan el alma.
We arrived at the hotel early, and I got down to work. The job took some time, as expected, but everything went well. Once finished, we decided to take advantage of the fact that we were very close to Juangriego, a place that always takes my breath away with its natural beauty. So we headed there, with the intention of relaxing a little and enjoying the surroundings.
Llegamos al hotel temprano, y me puse manos a la obra. El trabajo me tomó su tiempo, como era de esperarse, pero todo salió bien. Una vez terminado, decidimos aprovechar que estábamos muy cerca de Juangriego, un lugar que siempre me roba el aliento por su belleza natural. Así que nos dirigimos hacia allá, con la intención de relajarnos un poco y disfrutar del entorno.
Juangriego has a charm that is difficult to describe. It is as if time stands still and nature invites you to simply be, without rushing. We had brought some snacks with us, so we sat down near Fortín La Galera, a place steeped in history with spectacular views.
Juangriego tiene ese encanto que no se puede describir fácilmente. Es como si el tiempo se detuviera y la naturaleza te invita a simplemente estar, sin prisas. Llevábamos algo de merienda, así que nos sentamos cerca del Fortín La Galera, un sitio con su historia, con vistas espectaculares.
From this privileged vantage point, you can admire Laguna de los Mártires, with its history and beauty. On this occasion, the lagoon was a little dry, which meant we couldn't see the large flocks of pink pelicans that usually adorn the landscape. I was disappointed not to see them, but that just gives me one more reason to return soon.
Desde ese punto privilegiado se puede apreciar la Laguna de los Mártires, con una historia y belleza. En esta ocasión, la laguna estaba un poco seca, lo que hizo que no pudiéramos ver las grandes manadas de pelícanos rosados que suelen adornar el paisaje. Me quedé con las ganas de verlos, pero eso solo me da una razón más para volver pronto.
These views are what make me fall in love with Juangriego over and over again. I can't resist capturing every detail with my lens, turning what started as a workday into a journey full of magic. Being able to share it with you is part of what motivates me to continue documenting these moments.
