The weekend has begun, and I wish you all a happy break.
Yesterday, Friday, marked the end of my work week at the Sunsol Ecoland hotel, a place that always fills me with energy and good vibes. Every time I go there, I feel that I am not only fulfilling a professional responsibility, but also treating myself to moments of connection with nature and with those around me.
I thoroughly enjoy the journey to Ecoland. It is a perfect blend of urban landscapes that show the movement of the city and natural landscapes that convey peace and serenity. It is as if the journey itself were part of the experience, a prelude that prepares the spirit for what is to come.
Ya comenzó el fin de semana y les deseo un feliz descanso.
Ayer viernes culminó mi semana laboral en el hotel Sunsol Ecoland, un lugar que siempre me llena de energía y buenas sensaciones. Cada vez que me toca ir, siento que no solo cumplo con una responsabilidad profesional, sino que también me regalo momentos de conexión con la naturaleza y con quienes me rodean.
El camino para llegar a Ecoland lo disfruto al máximo. Es una mezcla perfecta entre paisajes urbanos que muestran el movimiento de la ciudad y paisajes naturales que transmiten paz y serenidad. Es como si el trayecto mismo fuera parte de la experiencia, una antesala que prepara el espíritu para lo que viene.
Once again, I was fortunate to have my husband accompany me on this trip. I am truly delighted to share these moments with him. When he is driving, I feel very safe and protected. That peace of mind allows me to relax and fully enjoy the scenery, without any worries. We chat, listen to music, and occasionally just sit in silence to contemplate our surroundings.
We drove up Portachuelo, an area where the landscape is especially natural and beautiful. The mountains, the trees, the fresh air... everything seems to be in perfect harmony.
Una vez más, tuve la dicha de contar con la compañía de mi esposo en este recorrido. La verdad es que me alegra enormemente compartir estos momentos con él. Cuando él es quien maneja, me siento muy segura y protegida. Esa tranquilidad me permite relajarme y disfrutar plenamente del paisaje, sin preocupaciones. Vamos conversando, escuchando música, y de vez en cuando simplemente guardamos silencio para contemplar el entorno.
Subimos por Portachuelo, una zona donde el paisaje es especialmente natural y hermoso. Las montañas, los árboles, el aire fresco… todo parece estar en perfecta armonía.
When we arrived at the Sunsol Ecoland hotel, we were greeted by Clarel, the quality control representative. She always has a smile on her face and a charming personality. She tells us that she enjoys working with us because, although we take our work seriously, we never see difficulties as obstacles, but rather as part of the process. That positive attitude makes everything flow better.
Al llegar al hotel Sunsol Ecoland, nos recibió Clarel, la muchacha del área de calidad. Ella siempre tiene una sonrisa en el rostro y un carácter encantador. Nos comenta que le gusta trabajar con nosotros porque, aunque tomamos el trabajo con la debida seriedad, nunca vemos las dificultades como obstáculos, sino como parte del proceso. Esa actitud positiva hace que todo fluya mejor.
As we do every week, we begin by checking the digital scale to determine the percentage of hypochlorite we will use to chlorinate the large tank. This step is essential to ensure that the hotel's water is in optimal condition.
Como cada semana, comenzamos revisando la báscula digital para determinar el porcentaje de hipoclorito que utilizaremos para clorar el tanque grande. Este paso es fundamental para garantizar que el agua del hotel esté en óptimas condiciones.
We went up to the tank to continue with the chlorination protocol. We measured the chlorine level and pH before starting the process. Upon seeing the results, we proceeded to accurately and carefully chlorinate the tank. Then, we did a second check of the chlorine, pH and suspended solids levels. We do all of this to ensure that the water used by guests and hotel staff is of the highest possible quality.
Subimos al tanque para continuar con el protocolo de cloración. Medimos el nivel de cloro y el pH antes de iniciar el proceso. Al ver los resultados, procedimos a clorar el tanque con precisión y cuidado. Luego, hicimos una segunda revisión de los niveles de cloro, pH y sólidos en suspensión. Todo esto lo hacemos con el objetivo de asegurar que el agua que usan los huéspedes y el personal del hotel sea de la mejor calidad posible.
Once all the protocol was finished and with the satisfaction of having correctly completed each step, we got off the tank. I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the beautiful scenery that can be seen from that high point. The view of the hotel from there is simply spectacular. Every time I come to chlorinate, I discover something new and beautiful in the landscape. It is as if nature always has a surprise in store for me.
Una vez terminado todo el protocolo y con la satisfacción de haber cumplido correctamente con cada paso, bajamos del tanque. Aproveché para tomar algunas fotos de los bellos paisajes que se pueden apreciar desde ese punto elevado. La vista del hotel desde allí es simplemente espectacular. Cada vez que vengo a clorar, descubro algo nuevo y hermoso en el paisaje. Es como si la naturaleza siempre tuviera una sorpresa reservada para mí.
We said goodbye to the hotel staff, who, as always, treated us with kindness and respect. It is a pleasure to work with people who value what you do and who contribute to creating such a pleasant working environment.
On the way back, we passed by La Playa lagoon. With the weather so bright, the lagoon looked especially beautiful, contrasting with the green mountains that surround it. It was a landscape worth contemplating for a long time, a natural postcard that invites reflection and calm.
Nos despedimos del personal del hotel, que como siempre nos atendió con amabilidad y respeto. Es un gusto trabajar con personas que valoran lo que uno hace y que contribuyen a crear un ambiente laboral tan agradable.
En el camino de regreso, pasamos por la laguna La Playa. Con el clima tan radiante, la laguna se veía especialmente hermosa, contrastando con las verdes montañas que la rodean. Era un paisaje digno de contemplar por largo rato, una postal natural que invita a la reflexión y a la calma.
After enjoying this beautiful natural setting, we headed for home, happy to have accomplished our work. We closed the week wrapped in the joy and complicity that only nature can offer.
