Happy and relaxing weekend to everyone. Mine will be relaxing too, since I won't have to work. But before disconnecting, I want to share with you how my Friday went, a special day when I revisited Coche Island.
A few days ago, I received a call from Sunsol Punta Blanca, and this time I returned to finalize part of what had been agreed upon. Going to Coche Island is always an experience that I deeply enjoy. I love the sea, and knowing that a boat is waiting for me at the Yaque terminal fills me with excitement. From walking on the sand to sitting on the boat and contemplating the infinite blue, everything connects me and makes me very happy, with what I like most.
On this occasion, I was accompanied by my father and my husband. We are the perfect team: my father, with his vast experience; my husband, always focused on finding quick solutions; and me, passionate about details and perfection. Together, we complement each other very well.
Feliz y descansado fin de semana para todos. El mío será relajado también, ya que no tendré que trabajar. Pero antes de desconectarse, quiero compartirles cómo fue mi viernes, un día especial en el que volví a visitar la Isla de Coche.
Hace unos días recibí un llamado de Sunsol Punta Blanca, y esta vez regresé para concretar parte de lo acordado. Ir a la Isla de Coche siempre es una experiencia que disfruto profundamente. Amo el mar, y saber que me espera una lancha en el terminal de Yaque me llena de emoción. Desde caminar por la arena hasta sentarme en la lancha y contemplar el azul infinito, todo me conecta y me hace muy feliz, con lo que más me gusta.
En esta ocasión fui acompañada por mi padre y mi esposo. Somos el equipo perfecto; mi padre, con su vasta experiencia; mi esposo, siempre enfocado en encontrar soluciones rápidas; y yo, apasionada por los detalles y la perfección. Juntos, nos complementamos muy bien.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with the hospitality and warmth that characterizes everyone in Punta Blanca.

The quality control manager accompanied us on a tour of the facilities. His commitment to the smooth running of the hotel is admirable, and that is why we were there: to help further improve processes and ensure that the hotel feels that its service is optimal.
We visited the tank and filter area, where we took measurements and made diagnoses that will be useful for future work.
El gerente de control de calidad nos acompañó en un recorrido por las instalaciones. Su compromiso con el buen funcionamiento del hotel es admirable, y por eso estábamos allí: para colaborar en mejorar aún más los procesos y el hotel sienta que su servicio es óptimo.
Visitamos el área de tanques y filtros, donde hicimos mediciones y diagnósticos que serán útiles para futuros trabajos.
We also reviewed the parameters of the water treatment plant and the bottle filling system, which are essential for guaranteeing quality water for all guests. Although there are still tasks to be completed, the collective commitment is clear: to work together to ensure that the water quality is impeccable.
También revisamos los parámetros de la planta potabilizadora y del sistema de llenado de botellones, esenciales para garantizar agua de calidad a todos los huéspedes. Aunque hay tareas pendientes, el compromiso colectivo es claro; trabajar juntos para que la calidad del agua sea impecable.
Something that always impresses me about Sunsol is its level of organization and cleanliness. Every corner reflects care and professionalism, which speaks highly of the hotel chain. After completing our tasks, we took advantage of our free time before departure to explore the hotel. I love the contrast between the sky and the tropical atmosphere, which conveys a sense of well-being that is difficult to describe.
Algo que siempre me impresiona de Sunsol es su nivel de organización y limpieza. Cada rincón refleja cuidado y profesionalismo, y eso habla muy bien de la cadena hotelera. Después de cumplir con nuestras labores, aprovechamos el tiempo libre antes del zarpe para recorrer el hotel. Me encanta el contraste entre el cielo y el ambiente tropical, que transmite una sensación de bienestar difícil de describir.
One of the benefits of living on the island is being able to combine work with direct contact with beautiful nature. Palm trees, sand, and sea are elements that inspire and transform any workday into a relaxing and, of course, unique experience. That's why I love what I do; because even the most intense days feel light when you're surrounded by natural beauty.
Una de las bondades de vivir en la Isla es poder combinar el trabajo con el contacto directo con una naturaleza hermosa. Palmeras, arena y mar son elementos que inspiran y transforman cualquier jornada laboral en una experiencia relajante y por supuesto única. Por eso amo lo que hago; porque incluso los días más intensos se sienten livianos cuando estás rodeada de belleza natural.
When it was time to return, we prepared to cross the sea again. Always following the rules, we put on our life jackets and let ourselves be carried away by the serenity of the sea and the landscape full of beautiful shades of blue. It was a magical twenty-minute trip, which brought an excellent day's work to a close.
Al llegar la hora de regreso, nos preparamos para cruzar nuevamente el mar. Siempre respetando las normas, nos colocamos los chalecos salvavidas y nos dejamos llevar por la serenidad del mar y el paisaje lleno de lindas tonalidades de azul. Fueron veinte minutos de viaje mágicos, que cerraron un día de trabajo excelente.
