First what is a relationship , a relationship is a connection or bond between two or more people. Relationships play a very important part in our life , it can bring love, happiness and support, but however not all relationships are perfect. Some are unhealthy and can even cause harm to the party involved, an unhealthy relationship is one where there is no happiness, there is always abuse, disrespect and control. Being in such a relationship can cause mental issues, emotional damage even physical damage as a result of violence.it is very important you know the kind people you get into relationship with. and it's important to recognize signs of an unhealthy relationship before the damage becomes too much.
SIGN OF AN UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIP
Sometimes not very unhealthy relationships are easy to spot. Sometimes people stay in such a relationship because they hope that things will change or maybe they are afraid of leaving.Some common signs in such a relationship are control over another, some partner traits control the other's life like telling them what to do,what to wear, whom to talk to or where to go. Lack of trust and disrespect is another sign , a healthy relationship is built on trust and love. If your partner is always suspicious and checking your phone and accusing you of lying, sometimes always finding yourselves in a fight, hitting,punching is a clear sign of an unhealthy relationship.
EFFECTS AND HARMS OF AN UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIP
Living in an unhealthy relationship can cause serious harm and damage to a person's well being. Being in an unhealthy relationship can lead to anxiety,stress,and depression. Constant negativity and criticism can make a person feel worthless,they may believe the harsh and harmful thing their partner tells them, which can lead to low self-esteem,with time can cause mental issues, sometimes stress from unhealthy relationships can weaken the immune system, making a person likely sick. In the case physical abuse injuries can occur, even with violence, constant tension can lead to stress causing headache,high blood pressure.in a controlling relationship a person may lose his or her self, they may stop doing what makes them happy because their partner doesn't allow them to do what they want. They cut off from friends and family making it harder for victims to seek help when abused.
HOW TO LEAVE AN UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIP
leaving an unhealthy relationship is very necessary and important. Though it is not easy, you have to leave for a better life. It is important you recognize the problems in the relationship and accept that the relationship is unhealthy. Talk to people and seek advice from friends and family when you feel unsafe. Make plans for yourself when you feel the relationship is getting unhealthy. Plan a safe way to leave and after leaving take time to rebuild yourself and confidence.
In summary, an unhealthy relationship can destroy someone's life. It is important to recognize the sign earlier so that you can have the courage to live before it gets worse. Every person deserves love and respect in a relationship. If a relationship brings more pain than joy please I advise you to leave because I have seen so many unhealthy relationships that lead to death of the other partner. It is better to leave and find a healthier, happier life . I believe no one should stay in any unhealthy relationship that hurts and harms them, life is too precious to waste.
