So, there was a day I fed the cat in My house, I gave him food, he ate the food a little and stopped eating, he was just looking at me, I knew that he didn't like the food, cause there was plenty pepper and I've observe him countless times, how he dislike pepper with the way he behaves towards the food, he was just staring at me with a kinda of pity face and eyes, I now felt for him and began to imagine alot of things in my head, what could he be thinking in his mind, it made me begin to wonder how animals may have a lot to say if they could talk, if they had voices like ours? How would that change the way we see them and how would they feel too, alot of things going through my mind as I imagine
If animals could talk, life would be very different. They would no longer have to guess what we want, and we wouldn’t have to guess what they need as well. They would speak their hearts out, just like we do. We would hear them laugh with them when we’re happy. We would feel them cry with us when we’re hurt.
Talking would bring us even closer, I think
Have you imagine sitting down, feeling sad, and your dog walks up and says Don’t cry, or why are you looking this way, I don’t like seeing you like this. I’m here to make you feel less alone. The love would be deeper.
I've seen dogs staring at people when crying and I know a lot would be going through their mind and the may have a lot to say if they could talk.
Dogs are loyal, and many people believe dogs see things beyond what humans see. So if they could talk, they wouldn’t just bark at danger they would tell us clearly, There’s something off about that person, or I saw something strange at the gate. They would help us stay safe, not just by instinct, but by giving us reasons and advice.
How about cats. Cats are known to be picky, proud, and sometimes very dramatic, just like some people we know. If a cat could talk, she might say something like Make your leg straight, I want to lie there, or No, not that food again, I like the one you gave me yesterday, or I want you to feed me this way,
Cats would probably speak with attitude, but in their own sweet way. Their love language is different. The speak words with love in their own style. And if they felt ignored, they would let you know cause of how petty they are.
I've think about chickens too, they are animals too, domestic ones. I see how smart they are, especially the mother hen, she knows exactly when she wants to lay eggs. She finds her quiet spot and handles it all by herself.
But if she could talk, they might say how they would need a little help,or how they would prefer a better place to lay their eggs, Or maybe they would tell us not to touch their eggs yet.
Their voices would bring light to things we never notice. We’d begin to care more, because we would understand better.
If animals could talk, they would also share their opinions. They might make beautiful suggestions, they may also want to take a walk with you, or tell you how their day went, or they would want to sit outside for a while with you.
They would become more than just pets, they would become our little friends, helpers, protectors, and maybe even our therapists. They would remind us to slow down, to smile and to be present.
They also have their own thoughts. Even now, when they can’t talk, they already reason. A dog knows when food is too little. A cat knows when you're upset. A goat knows when it’s time to eat. Imagine how much easier life would be if they could say it out loud.
How about the wild animals, if they could speak we also own them some explanations, like the lion and elephant why they get angry and eats people, like anything they see, we grow up and met them they way they are,
A lot of thoughts keeps coming to my head these days about animals, I wish they could talk so they could tell us how they feel, cause I know they also have a lot going on with them.
If animals could talk, they would not just speak, they would connect with us in deeper ways. They would tell us their needs, their pains, their joys, and their dreams. They would laugh with us, cry with us, play with us, and help us think better. We would realize that they’ve always had voices, we just never heard them clearly. Maybe it's time we start listening better, even in silence.
Because whether they speak or not, one thing is clear, animals feel, they think, and they love just like we do.
