The question IOS or Android? has caused a a lot of stir in the society today. You see online forums, group chats, classrooms, content's creators and all, you will find them passionately defending and supporting one, just like Chelsea and Arsenal fans...I mean no offense am a fan of Chelsea as wellđ.
You see this so called IOS users act as if that phone is a medal that can't be left at home but carried around, they have this way of holding it while walking or on call. They will say things like....once you go the iphone way, you can't go back, you will definitely be upgrading from a type to another.... While we android users will just eye them, our phones does twice of what theirs does even at half their price. The truth is, both sides have a point, am team android and I have my reasons.
While still growing, from the start, I really love flashy, classy, expensive things, that's just me, not as if I came from a rich family, not at all, not that I make the money easily, no, but I guess then it was because of influence, I can take a salary or contribution of two to three months and use it to get just one or two clothes, a those stress, all those days of going hungry, just to squander the money on what, I could have used the money to still buy quality clothes that are not necessarily designers at very cheaper price and still have some left to sort other things.
A time came, my bro had to call me to attention, it wasn't so easy to change, but I was almost going to be a university student then, so he had to call me to attention, and I saw his reasons, peer pressure there might be too much that I might later end up doing what's not right so as to always show up, he said one thing that I can never forget, he said new things will always come out, even before you raise the money to get a particular one, another would be out gain, in essence, o le ba, wa kan ma le ni (meaning___ you can't keep up with new things, you can never.
That really did call me back to attention, when I got my first smartphone, it was a small Tecno phone with a cracked screen and a battery that could survive the bad bad light in my area. Well, it wasn't fancy, but I could still do some things with it, it supports WhatsApp, I can play certain games on it, I can surf the internet, I can take pictures, even if they seem to look a little blurry.
And that was the beginning of my Android journey. And over the years, Iâve upgraded, after that Tecno, I went for infinix, later I switched to Samsung, later I got an Iphone(it got stolen in less than a month), I guess am not made for iPhonesđ, presently am with an Huawei, they are all so good, but theres something freeing about android.
I like how that I can customize my phone to feel like mine, I can change my themes, use widgets, download any app from anywhere, I can transfer files via Bluetooth, ShareIt, Huawei share, Xender, also, the fact that I can even use a memory card when Iâm running out of space.
Also, when I have a flat battery and am not home or with my charger, I donât really need to stress that much before I find someone who can help, adroids are pocket and budget friendly. Even if am having some issues, I donât have to think twice about fixing my screen or other parts that gets spoilt because it wonât cost me my entire savings.
I used it for a couple of weeks, so, I agree thst IOS is great, no doubt about that. The camera quality is so good, the system is smooth, and it screams luxury....The phone is given, he choke, but in a country like mine where the cost of living is high, electricity is unstable and the average person is constantly looking for ways to manage âŚ5,000 in a week for meal and transportation, how do you expect such a person to be using a phone that could literally buy 3-4 plots of land.
Or, whatâs the point of having a phone that cries for Wi-Fi every second, a phone that canât share music easily with your Android friends, a phone that needs a software update but will be scared too because it often messes with the data on it, a phone you have to around with with a powerbank.
Even if you want something good and better, androids offers that too, might be expensive as well, but it still gives freedom, and I think in the near future, Android will only get better. Brands like Samsung and Google are already doing great, and Android phones are becoming faster, more secure, and smarter with each update. And to me, that's what the average person needs, android phones understand, they bear a lot, they have very great lifespan and even with all of those they still deliver. So, IOS to me is classy, but Android is classic.
For you, which one would you pick, which would you go for and why?....Life can be somehow atimes, and those times, the best you could go with is Android, it won't finish your savings, it is given and it delivers, like now, I need a change, my Huawei needs urgent change and am not hoping or working towards an IOS, not at all, still an android, so what do you think about Redmi 14c, I think that's my focus.....would be looking forward to you individual views, suggestions and opinions.
