Hello Hivers! Good day to everyone.
All of us want to have our own house or dream house. As for me, I have been dreaming of having one and I'll tell you right away that I want a modern minimalist neat design dream house. The photo above is how I like the exterior of the house complete with a green backyard of course (I was a farmer's son, maybe that's how I came to love green neighborhood/backyard). I also like a 50-50 urban/rural type of neighborhood to live in. If I could I want to have another house in a rural setting to unwind (probably during the holidays).
The Living Room
Since I am into a minimalist type of house, I would also want my living room to be minimal. It will consist of about two sofas, two chairs, a table, a ceiling fan, a split-type air-conditioner, and a TV.
But if I am going to add more into my living room the photo below would likely be the design that I would take inspiration with.
The Kitchen
I love food, I would love to have a kitchen that I can freely move around while I am practicing some cooking, of course, my kitchen would also have a touch of minimalism that is neat and easy to clean when I am done cooking.
The kitchen would be one of the places that I would spend my entire day when I retire. I would cook and bake then share it on social media.
The Bedroom
The bedroom is where we mostly rest from the day's exhausting office works, so I would want my bedroom to have a peaceful minimalist ambiance without much decorations dangling around.
My bedroom would be one of the places that I would spend an entire day when I retire, I would create video tutorials on information technology, video gameplays, upload cooking, and baking videos, and engaging on various social media platforms.
The Neighborhood
My heart is always torn apart if I am going to choose a Bungalow or a City Home just like in choosing between rural or urban. But whatever it is, rural or urban, bungalow or city home, I only have a single preference for my kitchen, the living room, the bedroom, and the backyard.
When it comes to urban, I don't want a very urban type of setting I prefer it at 50/50 (rural/urban) but just like a said a while ago I would want to have another house in a 75%-90% rural setting (just like my hometown where you mostly see is farmlands).
Building My Dream House
In building my dream house I would prefer using concrete and steel on the body walls so that it would last for a long time. Inside walls will be made of HardiFlex (HardiFlex is known to be fireproof, thus lessening fire occurrences). The roof will be made of concrete roof tile for durability (they are known to last for about 50 years).
I would want to build two houses, a City House (urban), and a Bungalow (rural) both with modern minimalist interior design since I like them both very much.
I would want to live or build my dream house in a semi-urban/rural setting. But I would also want to have another house in a mostly rural setting where farmlands dominate the landscape.
