My wife and I really like mid century modern architecture which incorporates simple design and usually a lot of wood finishes - teak, red oak and walnut are common. It's often associated with Scandinavian design and decor as well. We chose walnut veneer cabinet fronts without shakers on the doors, quarts countertops and backsplash and stainless steel appliances.

If I mention the arches, I also have to mention the columns. Many of them are found supporting the roofs of the portals. Havana's houses are close-knit, and many have thick columns under the roofs that protect walkers from the sun. Here you can walk under the shade of the portals, which protect you from the strong island sun. Because of this feature the city was named by the writer Alejo Carpentier as the “City of Columns”.

The internal spaces are, even today, quite striking. This aspect has not been restructured since its construction and yet they still look great. As can be seen in the photo of the stairs, there are four floors that have good height and are in a perfect state of maintenance. Gray and pastel colors reign supreme and give integrity to the environment. It is also perfectly lit in each of its spaces, it is remarkable that the mall authorities are very attentive to detail.
