Greetings friends lovers of architecture and design, it is a pleasure to greet you wishing you have an excellent and productive weekend, the month of June is about to end to give way to the seventh month of the year, in which children in my country attend their graduation ceremonies and begin the school vacation period, last weekend I had the opportunity to go with my son to the monument sector, since he had to do research work in this area, we left in the afternoon for him to do this activity, he also had to meet with the other classmates of the group, while the children did their assignment which consisted of observing the dynamics that are generated in this area, I took the opportunity to take several photos of the sunset.
The Monument is located on the perimeter avenue (Cumaná - Carúpano national highway) and there converge residential complexes, hotels, commercial establishments and a beautiful promenade facing the sea, which has exercise machines, a park for the little ones in the house, a volleyball court and a tennis court, this walk has become an important center of fun and recreation for adults and children with a beautiful view of the sea, I have visited this place on several occasions and I like it a lot because from the wall you can see the Araya peninsula and a spectacular view of the beach, I like to go more in the afternoon to watch the sunset and enjoy the fresh breeze, in the morning it also looks very good but I like to go more in the evening.
Saludos amigos amantes de la arquitectura y el diseño, es un placer saludarles deseando que tengan un excelente y productivo fin de semana, ya está por finalizar el mes de junio para dar paso al séptimo mes del año, en el cual los los niños en mi país asisten a sus actos de grado e inician el período de vacaciones escolares, el fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de ir con mi hijo al sector el monumento, ya que debía realizar un trabajo de investigación en esta zona, nos fuimos en horas de la tarde para que hiciera dicha actividad, además debía reunirse con los otros compañeros del grupo, mientras los niños realizaban su asignación que consistía en observar la dinámica que se genera en esta área, aproveché para tomar varias fotos, del atardecer.
El Monumento se ubica en la avenida perimetral (carretera nacional Cumaná - Carúpano) y allí convergen conjuntos residenciales, hoteles, establecimientos comerciales y un hermoso paseo frente del mar, que cuenta con máquinas para hacer ejercicios, parque para los más pequeños de la casa, cancha de voleibol y cancha de tenis, este paseo se ha convertido en un importante centro de diversión y esparcimiento para grandes y chicos con una hermosa vista al mar, he visitado este lugar en varias oportunidades y me gusta mucho porque desde el muro se puede observar la península de Araya y una espectacular vista de la playa, me gusta ir más en horas de la tarde para observar el ocaso del sol y disfrutar la fresca brisa, en horas de la mañana también se ve muy bien pero me gusta más ir en el horario vespertino.
While taking pictures I noticed in the center of the avenue a sculpture of the globe that caught my attention, this is located on a vertical column covered with stones and you can see part of America and the African continent, in the background a house with yellow walls and white bars, continuing with the tour we see the civil protection office, which stands out for its yellow color on the walls and green on the roof, this has a triangular shape very similar to the huts and huts, something that I found very curious is that at the top there is a white and red boat, then you will find the Minerva hotel, in front of this hotel there is a wall with the map of the state of Sucre, it is yellow and is surrounded by several ornamental plants, in a more complete view of the avenue you can see several buildings that correspond to residential complexes and hotels, at this time of day the sun was already setting and the sky looked beautiful, then there are other buildings that are part of the residential complexes located in front of the sea.
Mientras tomaba las fotografías observé en el centro de la avenida una escultura del globo terráqueo que llamó mi atención, esta se encuentra en una columna vertical cubierta con piedras y se observa parte de América y del continente africano, al fondo una casa con paredes amarillas y rejas blancas, continuando con el recorrido vemos la oficina de protección civil, que destaca por su color amarillo en las paredes y verde en el techo, este tiene forma triangular muy parecido a las chozas y bohíos, algo que me pareció muy curioso es que en la parte de arriba se encuentra un bote de color blanco y rojo, luego se encuentra el hotel Minerva, al frente de este hotel se ubica un muro con el mapa del estado Sucre, es de color amarillo y está rodeado por varias plantas ornamentales, en una vista más completa de la avenida se aprecian varios edificios que corresponden a conjuntos residenciales y hoteles, a esta hora del día ya el sol se estaba ocultando y el cielo se veía hermoso, seguidamente hay otros edificios que forman parte de los complejos residenciales ubicados frente al mar.
Continuing with the tour, I headed to the Marinas Plaza shopping center, this shopping center stands out for its beautiful design and location very close to the sea, from the top of the mall, you can see a spectacular view of the beach and the buildings on the lower level, including Café Marinas, a place in the shape of a cabin and the roof covered with tiles, the columns are covered with brick, the walls are white and one of the cabins has wooden bands from one column to another, the plants around it give it a fresh and cozy style.
Visiting this beautiful sector of the city known as the monument, is a nice experience, because in addition to its wide spaces and walkways for walking or exercising, it is an excellent place to enjoy the breeze on the beach and observe the seascape, the buildings located in this area have varied designs and beautiful colors that contrast with the landscape, at the end of the tour, I returned to the starting point where the children were doing their work, when they finished their activity we went for some delicious ice cream and then went home.
Continuando con el recorrido, me dirigí hasta el centro comercial Marinas plaza, este centro comercial destaca por su hermoso diseño y ubicación muy cerca del mar, desde la parte superior del centro comercial, se observa una espectacular vista de la playa y los edificios del nivel inferior, entre ellos café Marinas, un local en forma de cabaña y el techo cubierto con tejas, las columnas están cubiertas con ladrillo, las paredes son de color blanco y una de las cabañas tiene bandas de madera de una columna a otra, las plantas alrededor le dan un estilo fresco y acogedor.
Visitar este hermoso sector de la ciudad conocido como el monumento, es una linda experiencia, pues además de sus amplios espacios y caminerías para hacer caminatas o ejercicios, es un excelente lugar para disfrutar la brisa en la playa y observar el paisaje marino, los edficios ubicados en esta zona tienen variados diseños y hermosos colores que contrastan con el paisaje, al terminar el recorrido, regresé al punto de partida donde estaban los niños haciendo su trabajo, cuando terminaron su actividad fuimos por unos deliciosos helados y luego a casa.
