Hello hive friends!
How was your Tuesday? I was quite busy today and yesterday, but I hope tomorrow won't be as busy as today. Actually, I'm not feeling well, apparently because I'm tired from work. All of you, please take care of your health, because health is everything. By the way, last Saturday I went to visit my husband's place in the city of Serang. Serang City is a city in Banten province, quite far from where I live. Previously, I had never visited where my husband lived in Serang, because every weekend my husband came home to where I lived in South Jakarta. To go to Serang, I have to take the city train for about an hour and then take a motorbike taxi for about an hour. I got on from Kebayoran Lama station and stopped at Maja station. This is my first time visiting Maja Station and I am interested in reviewing this place.
Maja Station is located in the Maja area, which is an area on the outskirts between the city of Jakarta and the city of Serang. At first I thought that because it was on the outskirts of town, the station must be outdated. However, when I got there I really didn't think that the station was nice and modern. Therefore I am interested in reviewing this place.
I will start reviewing from the front of the station. From the front, the building appears blue. Everything is painted blue like the photo above. Maja Station doesn't look too big when viewed from the front. Then for the lobby area, it looks like the photo below. The lobby area is quite spacious and there is a ticket purchasing counter, but because now cards are used, the counter seems to only be for card top ups. Then there are also machines for topping up cards too, to make it easier for passengers to top up their cards.
Next we move to the floor at the station. To get to the second floor we have to climb the stairs. When you reach the end of the stairs, you will immediately meet a card tapping machine. On the second floor, the area is also quite large. The pillars and walls are all painted the same color as the outside area. As for the floor, they use cream colored ceramics and white plasterboard. I think the color combination is very beautiful and suitable.
To get on the train, we have to go down to the platform on the first floor. To get down to the platform, another ladder is provided which is different from the previous ladder. Then for the platform, you can see it in the photos below. There are only two platforms, namely towards Jakarta and arrivals from Jakarta.
