In my city there is a structure that I have always found interesting. I remember that in that building there used to be a corporation called Corpoindustria, but that company was not really famous, but the shape of its structure was. As I have already mentioned in previous posts, the city of Maracay is small and for that reason it is difficult to see buildings that really attract attention, so this one that I show you always stood out for the hexagonal shape it has on its sides and other elements that we will see in this post.
Currently the headquarters of the governor's office of the state of Aragua is located there, I should clarify that Maracay is the capital of the aforementioned state. I do not remember exactly when they took the building, but I think it was around 2010. This building is located between Avenida Las Delicias and Avenida Agustin Alvarez, very close to the headquarters of the Mayor's Office of the Girardot Municipality, the Palace of Justice of Maracay and a military zone that right now I do not remember the name, so it is a perimeter in which several government institutions make life.

As you have been able to see so far, hexagonal shapes prevail in the structure, we can see them notably on both sides of the structure, but in addition to that there are triangles with points up and down on the cement colored walls that do not have ceramics, I guess the architect wanted to use the pointed shapes wherever possible. And well, beyond the shapes, we can see it is an office building of about 7 or 8 floors that from my point of view lacks of maintenance, that can be noticed more clearly in this last photo.

In one of the common areas, we can see a statue or monument to Alí Primera, a musician, singer-songwriter and political activist who died in the 80's in a traffic accident, he is considered one of the great references of Venezuelan music.

Another remarkable element of the common areas is that it is full of trees and green areas, at times it looks like a building that is in the middle of a jungle. I think this is an attraction that gives a certain visual freshness to the structure taking into account the lack of maintenance. There is also a kind of metal grille or roof that is painted with the colors of the Venezuelan flag and its 8 stars.

I believe that this is a structure that has many opportunities to improve and become a visual attraction for the population taking into account how unique it is, but for that it is necessary that the corresponding authorities invest in the maintenance and remodeling of the building.

I apologize for the photos in which political advertising is observed, I keep them because my idea is to show the best of the spaces of this building, so I had no choice. For me it is still a pleasure to share with you the most interesting things about the infrastructure of my small city, I think that if you propose you could do the same and in this way we would know incredible corners of the city where you live. A big hug to all of you. See you soon!
