[ENG-SPA] The Pyramid

For many years of my life I worked in both private and public banking, from very large main buildings with lots of floors, where all the data of a bank is handled, to smaller entities where people come for the safekeeping of their money, and it is amazing how banking architecture has been changing,
They have gone from being highly armored enclosures in all aspects, from its exterior facade with hermetic designs, representing great strengths, with the purpose of transmitting seriousness and confidence.

Por muchos años de mi vida trabaje en la banca tanto privada como publica, desde edificios principales muy grandes con gran cantidad de pisos , donde se maneja toda la data de un banco , hasta las entidades mas pequeñas donde las personas acuden para el resguardo de su dinero , y es asombroso como ha ido cambiando la arquitectura bancaria , han pasado de ser recintos sumamente blindados en todos los aspectos , desde su fachada exterior con diseños herméticos , representando grandes fortalezas , con la finalidad de transmitir seriedad y confianza .

But over the years the image of the entities has been redesigned, although the vast majority still retains its traditional scheme, there are some that have been transformed.

Such is the case of the old Banco Mi Casa, currently the headquarters of Banco Venezuela and the Public Prosecutor's Office, known in Maturin for its pyramid structure.

Pero a lo largo de los años se ha rediseñado la imagen de las entidades , aunque la gran mayoría aun conserva su esquema tradicional ,hay algunos que han ido transformándose.

Tal es el caso del antiguo Banco Mi casa , actual sede del Banco Venezuela y del ministerio publico , conocido en Maturin por su forma estructural de pirámide .

The locals refer to the bank as the pyramid, and its architectural design is extremely striking, as it is dominated by various elements of architectural composition combining the fragmentation and overlapping of forms, using geometric shapes such as pyramids.

Los allegados de la zona hacen referencia del banco como la pirámide , y es que su diseño arquitectónico es sumamente llamativo , ya que predominan diversos elementos de composición arquitectonica combinando la fragmentacion y superposición de las formas, utlizando formas geométricas como pirámides .

They are two buildings made with the same forms and previously one represented the main building of the bank where all the legal and human resources area was handled and the other smaller building represented the common bank, where people made their daily transactions. Since a few years ago by measures implemented by the current government, this bank became an acquisition of the state, and now the main building is the headquarters of the state prosecutor's office (an organization dedicated to the investigation of crimes).

Son dos edificios realizados con las mismas formas y anteriormente uno representaba el edificio principal del banco donde se manejaba toda el area legal y de recursos humanos y el otro edificio mas pequeño representaba el banco comun , donde las personas realizaban sus transacciones diarias . Desde hace unos años atras por medidas implementadas por el gobierno en curso , este banco paso a ser una adquisicion del estado , y ahora el edificio principal es sede del ministerio publico del estado (una organizacion que se dedica a la investigación de delitos).

The exterior of the current bank has large walls with strong foundations using materials such as stainless steel, marble floors and walls covered with stones in shades of gray with bases covered with glass, a closer and more transparent version. In this area of the building there is more openness of light, and reflects a little more modernity.

En el exterior del actual banco se observa grandes murallas con fuertes cimientos utilizando materiales como acero inoxidable , suelos de marmol y paredes cubiertas de piedras en tonos grises con bases revestidas de vidrio , una version mas cercana y trasparente En esta area del edificio hay mayor apertura de luz , y refleja un poco mas de modernidad .

In the internal part the spaces are no longer closed and divided, they have a wider and more open aspect for the public, they do not have so many space restrictions and the spaces between employees and the public in general are complemented in an almost imperceptible way, which allows a closer and more direct connection.

In contrast to the ministry's headquarters building, which by necessity uses a great amount of energetic light, due to its solid walls that are impenetrable to sunlight, there is a natural darkening of its interior environments.

En la parte interna los espacios dejaron de ser cerrados y divididos , tienen un aspecto para el publico mas amplio y abierto , no poseen tantas restricciones de espacio y se complementan de una manera casi imperceptible los espacios entre empleados y publico en general , lo que permite una conexión mas estrecha y directa .

En contraste con el edificio sede del ministerio , por necesidad utiliza gran cantidad de luz energetica , debido a sus paredes macizas impenetrables por la luz solar se produce un oscurecimiento natural de sus ambientes interiores .

The building that today is the current headquarters of the public ministry is a great wall with wonderful pyramidal shapes, it is impossible to access with cameras due to the functionality of the building and it is surrounded by security and military personnel.

Little is known about the history of these buildings because when the state takes possession of them, it leaves no trace of its history, I would have loved to know a little about the founding architects, to know a little more about their work. But I hope that in the process of research I can find this information.

El edificio que hoy en dia es la actual sede del ministerio publico es una gran muralla con maravillosas formas piramidales , es imposible el acceso con camaras debido a la funcionalidad del edificio y que se encuentra rodeado de personal de seguridad y militares .

Poco se conoce de la historia de estos edificios debido a que al tomar posesión de los mismos el estado , no deja huella sobre su recorrido , me hubiera encantando conocer un poco sobre los arquitectos fundadores , para saber un poco mas de su trabajo . Pero espero que en el proceso de investigacion pueda dar con esta informacion .
