La arquitectura predominante de mi ¨Ciudad¨ de ¨Corrientes¨ son las edificaciones de época, creadas con manos de inmigrantes españoles, italianos y franceses que se han establecido en nuestra provincia, y nos han obsequiados sus conocimientos técnicos de construcción. Estas edificaciones de épocas se concentran en un rectángulo de la ciudad, y permanecen en pie gracias a las normas que lo protegen por ser patrimonio cultural de la ciudad. Muchas de estas edificaciones pertenecieron a personas influyentes, adineradas o militares de la época, su interior guarda celosamente fragmentos de nuestra historia que merecen ser preservadas para el conocimiento de generaciones futuras. No hay muchas ciudades en el mundo que guarden edificios de esta naturaleza, edificaciones con hermosos detalles creados a manos para destacar y dar personalidad a los frentes de las viviendas

The predominant architecture of my ¨City¨ of ¨Corrientes¨ are the period buildings, created by the hands of Spanish, Italian and French immigrants who have settled in our province, and have given us their technical knowledge of construction. These period buildings are concentrated in a rectangle of the city, and remain standing thanks to the regulations that protect it as cultural heritage of the city. Many of these buildings belonged to influential, wealthy or military people of the time, their interior jealously guards fragments of our history that deserve to be preserved for the knowledge of future generations. There are not many cities in the world that keep buildings of this nature, buildings with beautiful details created by hand to highlight and give personality to the fronts of the houses
Hace tiempo vengo hablando de este tipo de edificación, comentando el origen de las manos constructoras, y los elementos de épocas que han utilizado al momento de la construcción. En esta oportunidad les quiero comentar lo que he observado en mi última visita al casco histórico de la ciudad. Saben que amo este tipo de edificación, y no me resisto al ver hermosas construcciones, y no dudo un solo segundo en detenerme y apreciar el hermoso trabajo que han hecho las manos de los albañiles que hicieron los detalles de la fachada de las edificaciones

En nuestra última visita a la ciudad nos sorprendimos gratamente al ver varias edificaciones de épocas haber sido restauradas, y lo más me llamo la atención son los vivos colores que han utilizado, esta es una nueva modalidad que se está imponiendo en la ciudad. Por lo que pude apreciar, las restauraciones se han centrado en la reparación de los detalles de las fachadas, completar la mampostería faltante que recubre los ladrillos. Lo que hace suponer que la estructura original de época no han sido modificado, es decir, las paredes de ladrillos de adobe asentado en barro continúan intacta en la edificación
