Imposing restoration of an icon of my city (Exclusive for ¨ArchitectureDesign¨)

Como están los apasionados de la arquitectura y el diseño; Fieles seguidores de esta maravillosa ¨ArchitectureDesignCommunity¨:  Una vez más aquí junto a ustedes para enseñarles otra selección de imágenes de las edificaciones de época de nuestra ciudad; En el post anterior les comente que mi provincia hace mucho tiempo era independiente de nuestro país; Esta condición hacia que muchas celebridades políticas de la época residieran en la provincia. El nivel económico de las persona les permitía hacer ciertas construcciones que se destacaban de otras provincias cercanas; Las imágenes que le doy a conocer en día de hoy, es de una edificación con mucha historia. Nuestra provincia se fundó con la llegada de los españoles hace más de 430 años; Mientras que esta hermosa edificación se construyó hace más de 140 años con la llegada de los inmigrantes italianos; De hecho fueron dos arquitectos italianos que dieron vida a este hermoso edificio. Como de costumbre quiero agradecer a nuestros @storiesoferne @aplusd por la genial idea de crear este espacio, donde los que amamos la arquitectura y el diseño tenemos un lugar donde alojar las imágenes que cuenta una historia de nuestras edificaciones; Feliz de ser parte de nuestra comunidad, hoy quiero contribuir en su crecimiento designado el 15 % de la recaudación a nuestra comunidad como beneficiaria

How are those who are passionate about architecture and design; Faithful followers of this wonderful ¨ArchitectureDesignCommunity¨:   Once again here with you to show them another selection of images of period buildings in our city; In the previous post, I told you that my province was independent from our country for a long time; This condition made many political celebrities of the time reside in the province. The economic level of the people allowed them to make certain constructions that stood out from other nearby provinces; The images that I present to you today are of a building with a lot of history. Our province was founded with the arrival of the Spanish more than 430 years ago; While this beautiful building was built more than 140 years ago with the arrival of Italian immigrants; In fact, it was two Italian architects who gave life to this beautiful building. En esta oportunidad deseaba dar a conocer una selección de imágenes que corresponde a la ¨casa¨ de ¨gobierno¨ de nuestra ciudad; En este edificio se definen las políticas de nuestro pueblo; Un verdadero icono de la ciudad; Pero no siempre fue la casa más importante de aquí; En este mismo lugar funcionaba una de las primeras iglesias, que luego fue traslada a otro lugar de la ciudad; Generando el espacio para la construcción de esta hermosa edificación. La belleza se lo debemos a manos italianas, un ingeniero con mucho conocimiento que llego a la ciudad para ocuparse de un sector de la municipalidad; Esta posición le brindó la oportunidad de construir los mejores edificios de época de ¨Corrientes¨

On this occasion I wanted to present a selection of images that correspond to the ¨house¨ of ¨government¨ of our city; In this building the policies of our people are defined; A true icon of the city; But it wasn't always the most important house here; One of the first churches used to work in this same place, which was later transferred to another part of the city; Generating the space for the construction of this beautiful building. We owe the beauty to Italian hands, an engineer with a lot of knowledge who came to the city to take care of a sector of the municipality; This position gave him the opportunity to build the best period buildings in ¨Corrientes¨

Esta edificación está ubicada en pleno corazón de la ciudad; En unas de las manzana más emblemática de la provincia. En el centro haciendo una ocupación de una manzana completa esta la plaza más antigua de la ciudad; Aquí se libraron muchas batallas en conservación de nuestra identidad; Frente a esta histórica plaza están en pie las mejores edificaciones de época de la ciudad; Y cada una de ellas pertenece a alguna institución importante de nuestra provincia. A esta zona de la ciudad se lo conoce como ¨barrio¨ de los ¨deportes¨. Todas las edificaciones lindera a la plaza, e incluyendo ella, ya fueron restaurados; Estos edificios fueron nombrados ¨monumentos¨¨históricos¨, por eso se comenzó la restauración con ellos; Ahora es el turno de nuestro icono provincial

This building is located in the heart of the city; In one of the most emblematic blocks of the province. In the center, occupying a full block is the oldest square in the city; Here many battles were fought in preservation of our identity; The best period buildings in the city are standing in front of this historic square; And each of them belongs to an important institution in our province. This area of the city is known as the ¨district¨ de los ¨deportes¨. All the buildings bordering the plaza, and including it, have already been restored; These buildings were named ¨historic monuments¨, for that reason the restoration began with them; Now it is the turn of our provincial icon

Este icono de la ¨Ciudad¨ de ¨Corrientes¨ está dentro de un programa de recuperación de las edificaciones de época; Hace algunos meses que se iniciaron las obras por el lado izquierdo del edificio; La recuperación no ha sido fácil, al parecer está llevando mucho más tiempo de lo que habían pensado; La mayor complicación está en el arenado para remover las pinturas de las paredes, y en ese proceso es inevitable dañar algunas estructuras que después hay que volverlas a construir, y como se pueden ver son aplique de diseños que lleva su tiempo en la restauración; Por lo que se puede apreciar se está haciendo un gran trabajo, y el edificio conservara su estética inaugural. Las delicada construcción de época es la que más tiempo insume en la restauración, ya que tienen que ser verdaderos artesanos de la construcción quienes lo hagan

This icon of the ¨Ciudad¨ de ¨Corrientes¨ is part of a program for the recovery of period buildings; Some months ago the works began on the left side of the building; Recovery has not been easy, apparently it is taking much longer than they had thought; The biggest complication is in the sandblasting to remove the paintings from the walls, and in this process it is inevitable to damage some structures that later have to be rebuilt, and as you can see they are applique of designs that takes time in the restoration; From what can be seen, a great job is being done, and the building will retain its inaugural aesthetic. The delicate period construction is the one that takes the most time in the restoration, since they have to be true construction craftsmen who do it.

En esta etapa la restauración se encuentra en el frente del edificio, esto llevara mucho más tiempo que el lado izquierdo de la construcción; Por una sencilla razón, la gran mayoría de las molduras distintivas se encuentran aquí; Además, hay que destacar todos los detalles que tienen las columnas como terminación; El decorado realizado por las manos expertas de los constructores italianos, llevara mucho más tiempo la restauración; Incluso en algunas imágenes se pueden apreciar, alguna grietas que van a requerí un tratamiento especial. Esto es un gran desafío para los ingenieros y arquitectos que están a cargo de la restauración

Al parecer lo que más retrasa la restauración, es que no hay muchos trabajadores de la construcción con gran conocimientos de esta técnica de molduras, y al tratarse de un edificio tan emblemático, no puede existir diferencia alguna de la construcción original. En esta etapa de la construcción, y en la zona en que se lleva a cabo la restauración no puede existir ningún error, de haberlo, hay que volver a rehacer el trabajo; Como saben, eso será más tiempo en la recuperación del edificio y más dinero en la inversión del gasto público. Apparently what delays the restoration the most is that there are not many construction workers with great knowledge of this molding technique, and as it is such an emblematic building, there can be no difference some of the original construction.
