Hola reciban un saludo muy cordial todos los miembros de esta comunidad. He visto en los post lugares muy bonitos de mucha historia belleza cultural y algunos otros más modernos. Hoy voy a hablarles de un lugar que me impresiona por el respeto que muestra a al casco histórico de Maracay. En ocasiones las construcciones nuevas tienen la particularidad que mientras emergen pulverizan y destruyen sitios que en su momento dieron vida a las ciudades, y están en los recuerdos de la población de mas edad e incluso en alguno de ellos ocurrieron hechos que quedaron grabados en la historia por su trascendencia.
El Centro comercial Estación Central ubicado en la avenida Constitución de la ciudad antes mencionada. Me gusta bastante como conservaron la estructura de un sitio que fue edificad originalmente en el año 1926. Se trata de Los Telares de Maracay. Su arquitectura es bella y es de gran tamaño. En un principio para los años veinte su producción era de 12000 kilogramos semanales y su producto final era el algodón. Sin duda un lugar de importancia historia de la ciudad.
Hello, a very cordial greeting to all the members of this community. I have seen in the posts very nice places with a lot of history, cultural beauty and some other more modern ones. Today I am going to tell you about a place that impresses me for the respect it shows to the historic center of Maracay. Sometimes new constructions have the particularity that as they emerge they pulverize and destroy sites that once gave life to the cities, and are in the memories of the older population and even in some of them occurred events that were recorded in history for its importance.
The Estación Central Shopping Center located on Constitución Avenue in the aforementioned city. I really like how they preserved the structure of a place that was originally built in 1926. It is Los Telares de Maracay. Its architecture is beautiful and it is of great size. At the beginning of the twenties its production was 12,000 kilograms per week and its final product was cotton. Undoubtedly a place of importance in the history of the city.
Me gusto el proceso de restauración que comenzó en el año 2006, es decir ochenta años después de la construcción original. Este proceso fue impecable y respetaron toda la estructura exterior y sus alrededores. Me parece una construcción imponente y muy bonita cuyo color predominante es el blanco y acabados de ladrillo. Típico de la época en que se construyó. En la parte más alta se encuentra una terraza donde se pude divisar gran parte de la ciudad de Maracay. Su gran cantidad de ventanales de buen tamaño y apariencia elegante nos evoca el esplendor del edificio en 1926 y además conserva gran parte del piso de granito pulido original.
I liked the restoration process that began in 2006, eighty years after the original construction. This process was impeccable and they respected all the exterior structure and its surroundings. It seems to me a very beautiful and imposing construction whose predominant color is white and brick finishes. Typical of the era in which it was built. In the highest part there is a terrace where you can see a great part of the city of Maracay. Its large number of large windows of good size and elegant appearance evokes the splendor of the building in 1926 and also retains much of the original polished granite floor.
El interior del centro comercial estación central es otra cosa. Sumamente moderno y sus tiendas se dedican a la innovación. Curiosamente el 80 por ciento de las tiendas están dedicadas a las ventas de aparatos tecnológicos como teléfonos computadoras de última generación aparatos de video telecomunicaciones y servicio de internet satelital y por fibra óptica. El ultimo piso tiene una enorme feria de la comida donde convergen Cafés restaurant comida rápidas dulcería y heladerías. De verdad que fue un placer visitar las instalaciones y me tome el tiempo para conocer hasta el último rincón de esta joya histórica y moderna de la ciudad de Maracay
The interior of the central station mall is something else. Highly modern and its stores are dedicated to innovation. Interestingly, 80 percent of the stores are dedicated to the sale of technological devices such as telephones, the latest generation of computers, video telecommunications devices and satellite and fiber optic internet service. The top floor has a huge food fair where cafes, fast food restaurants, candy stores and ice cream parlors converge. It was really a pleasure to visit the facilities and I took the time to know every corner of this historical and modern jewel of the city of Maracay.
Como opinión personal creo que cuando se conserva el patrimonio cultural y se deja intacto el casco histórico de una gran ciudad se hace mucho bien a los habitantes. A la población mayor les permite recordar con agrado el esplendor de la época en que se construyeron los edificios casas y plazas y a la población joven les beneficia conocer la historia esto une a ambas generaciones en algo que tienen en común.
As a personal opinion, I believe that when the cultural heritage is preserved and the historic center of a great city is left intact, it does a lot of good to the inhabitants. To the older population it allows them to remember with pleasure the splendor of the time when the buildings, houses and squares were built and to the young population it benefits them to know the history that unites both generations in something they have in common.
Con esto me despido, espero disfruten de las fotos así como yo disfrute del paseo por esta hermosa edificación y piensen en lo importante de la arquitectura antigua ya que aunque la visite hace poco tuve que investigar y saber el porque de su diseño y cuando se construyo.
