Hello, good evening, I'm very happy to join and meet you in this community again. And tonight I will post a house of worship belonging to Catholics in Indonesia. This church is the largest Catholic church in Berastagi City with its unique design, the uniqueness of the building is because this church was built with architectural beauty without forgetting the local cultural elements that have raised its community. In Berastagi City, North Sumatra province, most of the people are Batak and Karo tribes, so many government buildings, schools or places of worship have cultural elements that are quite beautiful and worthy of being your modern home references.
When we enter the church, we will be greeted with a very elegant gate, in my opinion, very neat architecture and design adorn the gate, with 3 large pyramids that signify the ethnic Batak culture in this Berastagi City. The roof of the gate is also made with clay tiles which are colored with matching paint, and there is no special meaning in giving the color. Everything to make it look more natural and more dynamic, then the gate is also made of very neat brick walls and painted with the basic color of the bricks and then varnished to make it look shiny. Simple, but makes the impression of this gate more luxurious than it looks.
Entering the church yard, we will also be greeted with a fairly large yard with a mini flower garden around the church with blooming flowers. There is a small bridge that connects to the sewer there, but this makes this park more beautiful, the yard is wide, the cold air of the city of Berastagi on the top of the mountain and the many green trees there make everything around this building so harmonious, the church yard it is also very clean there is no trash scattered there.
Just like giving the color to the gate, the color on the church walls is also given a matching color and looks more natural, namely brown. At the top of the walls of the church there are carvings depicting the pattern of people in the city of Berastagi with their ethnic culture, then there is also a lizard symbol as a meaning of luck for them. Apart from the pattern of community life depicted here, there are also many symbols of religious life here. On the roof of this church there is also the same design as the one above the entrance and exit gates of the church. With ornaments typical of the Catholic church which is certainly superior here. Very neat.
If you look directly at this church, there are many words that are difficult to describe, but I seem to have run out of words. So until here first yeah. 😊😂
