Hello Hive friends in the community. This is where I want to share my experiences of staying at backpacker hotels that I have stayed at. Why until now I didn't choose a studio apartment or 5 Star hotel for my stay when I was on holiday. My answer is 'a bad hotel is a hotel that makes me comfortable so I'm lazy to explore other places'. Just imagine I have to spend more money just to sleep while from morning to night I want to explore many places in that city or country, it's really a shame. But if I go somewhere for a business trip or my job and I don't have time to explore In this place, it is best to stay in a place that makes you very comfortable with the existing facilities. However, everyone has thoughts, tastes and of course finances..ha..ha..
Now let's see what I found in my Gallery. I stayed one night at this hostel during my trip to Padang, West Sumatra last year. I just intended to clean my gallery when I accidentally found this hostel and today I will share it with all HIVE friends in this community. and the hostel that I will share is called 'Hostel Lorent' the position of this hostel is right next to the biggest public hospital in Padang but I forgot the name of the hospital.
From the front, this hostel is very small and when I looked for the hostel I almost didn't find it because the place is a little bit towards the back, this is because in front of the hostel there is a hospital canteen and hospital parking next to it, but when we stayed there No need to worry because parking will be free for guests staying at the hostel.
Utilizing narrow space with simple designs makes the receptionist room at the front not look dirty and on the contrary this room looks neater. There are several rooms available here with facilities at different prices, but what I like about this hostel is that there is a public kitchen. , you can cook rice, vegetables and make coffee or tea for 24 hours, the eating and cooking utensils are also very complete, even though the kitchen is not very large, it is very sufficient when we use it together with other visitors who are there.
It's not only the existence of a kitchen that you need to know about, other facilities such as a place to dry clothes are also available here and the place is very spacious, but you have to wash your own clothes by hand because there is no washing machine here, but if you want laundry one aisle after this hotel there is one. cheap laundry. Then in this hostel there are 6 very clean, spacious bathrooms and 2 types of sitting toilets and some are squatting ones. In several corners of the room I found several well-maintained living plants so that this hostel is not too monotonous even though this hostel is relatively small
You can see the condition of the rooms, the rooms are spacious, there is air conditioning, towel racks and electric sockets. The condition of the mattress was also not hard and the blankets and pillows were clean when we visited, there were no signs that the sheets had not been changed and had to be shared with other visitors. Then at each room door there is also a rubbish bin so that rubbish is not scattered everywhere, then every floor of the hostel also uses carpet so that visitors who enter the room must take off their sandals and put them on the shoe rack provided by the hostel. And the prices for this hostel vary greatly, starting from Tp. 80,000 up to Rp. 250,000 or if you exchange it, the room price is 4 U$ dollars to 15 U$ dollars. The price was quite cheap with good facilities to support my trip to Padang city at that time.
