Hi everybody. How are you? I hope you're okay. I'm fine. I live my life very pleasant and happy. Some time ago, I've been here. This is the most comfortable place I've ever been. This is a very beautiful building. This place is called the National Library of Indonesia. This building is located on Jalan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, Indonesia. This building caught the attention of many people. The reason is, this building has a height of up to 24 floors. In fact, this building is the tallest building in the world. I am very proud of this historical record.
This building is a new building that is right next to any historical building in Indonesia, namely the National Monument. I want to give you a quick overview of this library. The collection of books from this library reaches 4 million books today. This building can contain books for the next 50 years. This building is deliberately designed as a center of information and history. In the next 50 years, the collection of books in this building could reach 50 million books. Too much, right?
The building was prepared for a very long period of time. In addition to many books, this building really amazed me. In fact, it is designed to be comfortable for its visitors. The modern design is a plus, so people can linger in this building. When I was a student, being in the library became boring. Boring design is the main point, friends are reluctant to visit the library. With this modern design and architecture, in a day the library visitors can reach 2000 people. This increases greatly when there is a very modern new building.
This building was built with the concept of Go Green and Smart Building. In this place there is an open space that is very beautiful and comfortable. There are many parks on the front, left and right of this building. The garden is also very well maintained. It gives a very good impression to this building. In addition, the electricity consumption for this building only reaches 150 kwh/millimeter per year. And there is another green open space in this building, to be precise on the 3rd floor. You can see Monas on that floor. In fact, there is a small garden on the 3rd floor.
Then, smart building. In this modern era, this library is equipped with other modern facilities. Such as the use of computers, touch screens and other facilities that support visitors wanting to be in this building for a long time. And a good reading room is a thing, and the library comes with very strong wifi. You don't have to worry about the quality of the wifi here. This modern facility is carried out to speed up library services. Admit it or not, speed is something that is really needed in the city center.
In addition, the architecture of this building is included in the regionalism architecture which adapts to other buildings around this building. Around this building there are many towering offices and museums. Jalan Medan Merdeka (central Jakarta) is a national cultural center area. Thus, the National Library building is combined with the characteristics of other existing buildings. And added to the modern element. This new building applies horizontal elements to its fashion. It was done to match other buildings.
In this modern era, libraries are required to have a good interior design. It considers the human factor. So that it can provide good and comfortable facilities and facilities for visitors. In addition to design and architecture, property selection is very feasible to do. The color of the chairs used with bright colors. Likewise, the form of seating in this place varies. This is very impressive. When I'm here, I feel like I'm in the library of a famous overseas university. For me, the design, architecture and shape of the property on the premises is very pleasing.
