Couple of weeks ago, We went to celebrate one of our friend's birthday. It was indeed a refreshing experience.
Covid has again started spreading it's crocked wings around world. I don't understand how after every 6 months a new variant start spreading around? Well I guess not many people knows when this cycle of covid will stop.
So, lets enjoy as much as whenever we can before the covid waves strikes us again.
The evening started from us boys hyping the birthday boy of the group to take us to have some great food and drinks. He eventually agreed after crying hysterically about spending money from his huge pocket and litter heart LOL!
We went to the best place in my city Gurgaon i.e. sector 29. It's actually a hub of cafes, clubs and bars. we went there and choose Bom Box since our birthday boy was getting 20% off on that cafe as he had some coupons.
I was expecting a great ambience and Bom Box didn't disappointed me. I enjoyed the ambience and took some photos as well. We had great fun but the ambience was the true hero more than foods and drinks, Here's how-
The interior was peppy and bright which included lots of bright colours, come graffiti and a mixture of wooden and cushiony furniture. This place was a micro brewery as well so obviously it attracts many people since fresh beer is not available easily in all cafes.
Bom box is quite famous for it's energetic nights and micro-brewery. The plan layout was rectangular with a glass on the wall to have a good glance at the brewery set up. I feel like inclusion of glass on the wall and making the brewery containers visible makes a great difference in over all experience as the customer feels more connected as they have seen it moreover this adds up the aesthetic appearance as owning a micro brewery cafe is a big flex.
Having a monotonous seating is a clear indication of a big family restaurant. so, in order to bring in some juice of interest and amazingness, the seating should never be similar, always include some different kind of furniture or a deck with personal seating and different no of seating.
This mantra was clearly followed by the interior designers here. They divided a long monotonous shaped floor into different deck and furniture making it look like a huge place with lots of variety.

We were quite hungry and when it's a friend that pays for your food then we turn out to be super hungry

Almost this was our scenario. It's just that I clicked only my side's food and drinks picture. That too with lots of difficulty as the boys start messing with the plating as soon as the food comes so that some of us couldn't click the picture, only pizza was the one which couldn't be messed up!

Let's turn our vision back to the interiors after a quick break of food and drinks-
The dim lighting with mostly little flare of lightings in such kind of environment is quite soothing as this helps in making the space more personal!
Don't you think that having dimmer lights in surroundings while you eat and hang out in public places, it makes the place comfortable and personal as one can barely see what other group of people are doing.
Having bright and dark corners for every type of people is amazing, The ceiling was exposed as per trend which showcases the open ducts and wiring moreover the lighting fixtures were all visible which made no difference as this brings in raw and industrial feeling and everyone enjoys this kind of environment.
We as a group had lots of fun chit chatting about our lives, eating good food, drinking after so long and making fun of each other.
Corona times had refrained us from the luxury of hanging out! we were so happy since the condition and cases were under control moreover we all are properly vaccinated. But now I am writing about this sitting at my home under yellow alert where we are restricted from going out past 7 pm in evening to 6 am in morning plus everything is running under 50% capacity and our gyms, party halls and festivals are all closed. Everything got back to dark time of lockdown within 2 weeks f us hanging out considering everything is going back to normal.
I hope everything gets back to normal as soon as possible and we all start living our normal lives as it was before.
