hello all HIVE friends in this community. I often see many buildings in areas with strong ethnicities and I often share them within this community. However, the building I will share is very rare and I only come across one or two. In my opinion, this church has its own uniqueness that I can tell about to all HIVE friends in this community. The churches that I will tell about to HIVE friends are all in Pangaruran City, one of the cities on Samosir Island. The majority religion on this island is Christianity and that's almost 90 percent. However, there are not many unique churches here and only this church attracted my attention in terms of its architecture.
From a distance, I think this yellow-painted church is actually a wall painted yellow and shaped like a stone. because this church was built on a higher ground than the surrounding buildings so I can see this building from a distance. However, when I looked closely it turned out that the walls of this church were almost 100 percent built from genuine natural stone which has a natural yellow color. then this wall was smoothed and varnished so that the stone looked much shinier. However, there is a wall located next to the church which was made with cement walls and the paint color was given a harmonious color with the color of the natural stone wall.
The window models are also unique and match very well with this castle-shaped design. The combination of all the building colors is also very fitting. and turning to the front entrance, you can see that the church does not go directly to the entrance but instead there is something like a large gate as shade and a complement to the design so that it looks much more luxurious and the building becomes even more magnificent because of this gate. and don't forget the parking lot which is not too big but clean and everything has been paved with blocks and I can also see some flowers arranged in pots in this building. and here there is no garden, perhaps because of limited church land, but even so, we can still see the plants being cared for from the pots that are lined up.
Then what makes this church more unique and interesting is the shape of the church dome. With a dark brown color that stands tall compared to other buildings around it, this church has become an iconic place in the city of Pangaruran. and if I look at it as a whole there is no regional scent at all in this church, all of it is adapted from a European classical building if I'm not mistaken. and there were so many visitors from out of town to this church that the church gate was open 24 hours a day and I managed to enter the church yard to share with all of you in this community.
Apart from the magnificent church building, uniquely towering in front of the church, we can also see a very beautiful view, namely a charming mountain view. the air is cool, the people are friendly and there are many tourist attractions close by, so I can sit comfortably in the church arena and enjoy the view. if you ask me, am I Muslim and am I comfortable in church? In our country we are a country of tolerance where we live side by side with the 5 official religions recognized by our government. so don't be afraid to visit here.
OK, that's all I can tell you all. Greetings from Tomidiwirja, Indonesia
